    Cruise Ship Magic

There is a whole forum on the subject my advice is start there. I have had an offer to perform on a cruise ship about 2 years ago but I turned it down due to the contract being ridiculous.

What's that trick with the ziplock bag?

On Lee Asher's site there is a booklet that contains Duece Bag which is the same effect.

    Australian Coin Magic

That is what I meant having extra coins hidden. As for colour changing coins you can use 10c and $1 coins.

    Australian Coin Magic

Australian coins are fine for magic, they talk slightly more than American coins but it is not noticeable in the real world. Personally I use 20cent coins and 50 cents work nicely aswell. If you can find some round 50 cent coins they are perfect. The main problem is getting gaffs even expanded...

    Best Magic Release of 2011

The Berglas Effects is a book on the card magic of David Berglas. There is a chapter at the start of the book relating to ACAAN and then at the end there is an other one about the 'Berglas Effect' or the miracle ACAAN.

    Best Magic Release of 2011

I actually thought that there were many great releases this year. This way up was one of the best mentalism books I have ever read. The Berglas Effects is amazing so was Dani DaOrtiz's DVDs. There were many good PDFs that came out as well as single trick DVDs

Free Effect: ESP (Extra Sneaky Prediction)

I like it more than a certain effect on the wire. Personally I would make the prediction the wavy lines with the numbers 1 and 5 written on the back and the envelope respectively. The main reason being one and five are the least likely to be chosen especially when you ask for a number between...

    "Labeling" Effects

Alternatively you could use panic as part of a larger multiple phase routine. Maybe something like a travelers plot or something.

    Are you scared to palm?

I have no problem palming cards. If I am doing something like card to pocket (for a bit of fun) I will usually use palms in conjunction with other methods to get me far far ahead of the spectators.

Which hand is the object in?

Prevaricator is quiet a difficult piece to rate as it is completely different from all effects like it. On the DVD there is a fool proof method which helps when you are starting out.

    Where to learn sponge balls?

Jay N from penguin has a good starting point DVD.

Teaching a friend magic who's also into magic

Chopsticks is one of the basic things you must learn on the piano, just the way you should learn DL and double undercuts before you can go onto the pass.

    Mistakes!

I was performing my book test routine the other evening at a show. Part of the routine I use Ken Dyne's Whisper to have the spectator read the other spectators mind. So everything went perfectly however the person who had the book apparently was looking at the book upsidedown. I was playing...

where can i learn the Which hand coin mentalism ?

Derren, as far as I am aware has no work on the plot, at least published. I would recommend Patrick Redford's Prevaricator, even though the primary effect is not the which hand plot. There is still some of the best methods I have seen within this DVD. See my review here...

    How does dynamo do this?

it can be learnt in many places, I learnt it from a Luke Jermay booklet describing the routine, and his presentation on it. Considering that LJ is a consultant on Dynamo's show I assume for the most part it is Luke's presentation cropped down.

    How does dynamo do this?

It is a classic effect called the Georgia Magnet, it is a classic of magic.

Jason England VS. Lennart Green ?

They are both polar opposites so it would he impossible to compaire the two. ( I am making generalities about Mr. England but they do hove a grounding.) On one hand Jason comes across as precise type of person, whereas lenart seems like he is either about to go or just coming from the nut house...

    Teleport Envelope?

The envelope has many more magicial applications than mentalism based applications. The book itself is great but a lot of the stuff in there requires quiet a lengthy set up. I would definatly not recommend this book to you there are a lot of great ebooks which teach similar envelopes if that...
