    Who are you?

Totally true, I'm just trying to make the point that there is nothing wrong with being yourself either while performing.

    Who are you?

But let's look at some examples in magic. Joshua Jay! He is very nice, casual guy. Aaron Fisher! He is a hilarious guy, and pretty nice too. These guys don't play up any characters in performance, they are just themselves. Same with Dan Sperry! When he performs, he acts like himself, only...

    Who are you?

Well, as said before, there is really no way for someone to know who you really are by words. You have to be around someone to really know who they are. The employer would have to see you perform to really know who you are as a performer.

    Who are you?

I'm not even gonna try to describe how much I laughed at that. Anyway, I see your point. And in a situation like that, I would be more descriptive, telling him how I perform and what I act like. I wouldn't just say "I'm me", cause that's a bit ridiculous when a job is on the line. But...

    Who are you?

It's actually a common misconception that if your yourself, you going to be boring and just a face in the crowd that nobody remembers...that's not true. So what if your shy!? So what if your quiet!? That's just a sign of not being completely mature and comfortable with yourself yet. But you...

    Who are you?

I'm...(you'll hate me for this) myself. I would agree with everything AsherF wrote. I just enjoy being me. I laugh, have fun (still getting over nerves though), but also I like to be artistic with my magic, especially card magic. I like to make everything smooth looking, a little flourishy...

Saturday Night Contest - Roundtable with Jason England

I totally get you. And there is really no benefit to names like this, I see your point.

Saturday Night Contest - Roundtable with Jason England

Jason, I can totally agree with you about not signing names or anything like that, but you can't seriously say that anybody who doesn't use their real names on and internet forum is not serious about their magic? I actually think it would be cool to have used my real name now that I think about...

Saturday Night Contest - Roundtable with Homer Liwag

What are the pros and cons of card magic and coin magic, and in what situations should they be used? Which do you prefer (coin or cards) and why? What was the inspiration for the Rice Papers and your other works?

    What Happened?

That's just giving up and letting the forums die. Post all you want. There is a reason.

Getting a kiss successfully after a trick?

Totally. There is no problem with bringing it back up if someone wants to apologize, but I somehow doubt that will happen. I see you point of standing up for those guys. That's cool.

Saturday Night Contest - Roundtable with Jason England

Hey Jason. Do you think it's better to use a double lift with misdirection, like Aaron Fisher says in his podcast. The move should be done as the hands meet. Or do you think a double should be something that looks extremely convincing, so that the audience can burn your hands and still be...

Getting a kiss successfully after a trick?

Nah, I just think you get pretty heated sometimes. A smarter thing for me to have said would be "*cough*some people need to calm down*cough*". Anyway, I see someone still dragged this beaten thread back up. It was almost to the point were I thought It might be buried at the bottom of the...

    The be kind change variation

It was very nicely done. It was nothing new, but very nicely performed. Nothing to really criticize. Good job.

t11.bulletin : LINX by Alex Pandrea - Now Available

Oh yea, that looks pretty awesome. I was looking for some good rubberband magic, so this is just great. Some good audience participation in there too, so this looks great. Thanks T11!

Or here is an idea. Stop with the huge egos, no more self righteous talk, and let the thread die. Stop bringing it up. over. *cough*someone needs to calm down*cough*
