Coin bite effect is it outdated ?

What's really cool is to produce Oreo cookies from a dove pan. Like 15 of them or so....grab your gimmicked one and do the bite and restore. Kids love it!

    theory11 doubles.

Great Thread Dalton. Way to start my day with some laughs! Those are some very close comparisons.

Coin bite effect is it outdated ?

It can still get good reactions if done properly with good patter. Remember, 99 percent of people have NEVER seen close up magic before in person. Also be mindful of small children who may be watching between the ages of (1-4) who don't know any better and will mimic what you do and possibly...

    please watch v3

Fran, please listen to the advice you are getting and do not post a new / different video every couple hours. It does scream, "I need attention!" You want my honest opinion? Some people don't like my opinions because I tell it like it is and don't sugar coat it. I really do not care for...

    Phantom (and a cool story!)

Wow...that sounds like a great show planned with incorporation of magic. That is how I found my local ring. I ran into a magician at Walmart (15 years) after seeing him at Boy Scout Camp. I told him that I remembered him and that I eventually started doing magic. He told me about the local ring...

    College Majors

I'm not going to type some long drawn out thread but I simply LOVE being an elementary school teacher. Each day brings something new. The kids think you are the greatest in the world. They respect you, laugh at and with you, and your schedule rocks. I have the weekends to do magic shows and to...

    Show tomorrow, shameless advertising :P

A good joke for a card in pants routine is, when you reach into your pants, ask the female spectator, "Your card was a heart you said?"....hmmm...that feels like a club." Nathan Kranzo uses this and told me about it at a lecture.

Someone tells me how to upload videos in hd?

Fran you need to be using an HD Camera / Camcorder and shoot at 1080. However, when uploading to most sites and / or servers the file size is way too massive therefore you should take it back to 720 p when editing.

Someone tells me how to upload videos in hd?

Fran, are you just asking in general or do you have a specific error or problem that keeps recurring?

Nice additional comments Kevin. I agree.

So Freaking Tired Of This Crap...

I don't think much can be done Luis. I have seen both sides of the fence. My magic ring has a magic library of VHS tapes that has probably around 100 videos or so. We all (30) or so of us magicians "check" them out like a card catalog system on a month to month basis for our own viewing...

    Selling old books/dvds

Hi, if you are inquiring about possibly selling / listing them here....you may only do so in the signature portion of your posting. Otherwise that goes against our advertising policies.

    Abbott's Close Up Convention - Who's Going?

What's up fellas? Anyone here going to the Abbott's Close up Convention this year? Richard Sanders and Bill Abbott will be lecturing. I'm heading there with Tom Craven and was wondering if anyone from Theory11 was going.

    Chop Cup

I've read some great reviews on that too...might have to bite the bullet and get it.

    Chop Cup

Interesting...I've never had a magnet "too" strong...only the opposite. The coolest chop cups I've seen are the normal looking wooden ones or ones that are paper cups that look ordinary.

    Spectator thoughts

Valid argument formula. Times do change and perhaps what the Professor and many others from the past did back then, may not survive in our "fast paced" modern day society. You also mentioned that you performed Extreme Burn and a Coin Bend. Those didn't have any correlation with the cards that...

    Spectator thoughts

To me when watching a person flourish with cards...it diminishes the magic because in my mind I think, "If they can do this, this, and that while flinging cards everywhere....then by gosh he better be able to find my selected card." Just my two cents. If I was a layman just walking by someone...

    A birthday show for children

Silk vanishes with a Thumb Tip are fine and they will enjoy that. Do NOT stick things in your mouth with this particular age group because..."monkey see monkey do" and you don't want a lawsuit on your hand if a child sticks a coin, crayon, etc. in his or her mouth and chokes. Misers Dream...

    A birthday show for children

Ash, Children who are ages 2-5 are NOT going to be able to sit for 45 minutes nor will the young ones (2-3) going to understand much of what is going on. Trust me on this. I do not even perform children's shows or birthday party shows unless they are 5 and over. I tried it numerous times...
