    Stage/Cabaret Magic Ending!

Sometimes the best closers are a "call back" from something earlier on in the show. Just food for thought.

    What do you guys think?

Although it looks fairly decent, I don't believe this type of vanish is anything new so to speak. I've seen many magicians including myself use that same sharpie vanish numerous times in a routine with and without the aid of something extra.

    What'd I miss?

As Draven has mentioned, things have continually been growing as we move forward striving to be a great magic community now and in the future. The best thing about magic is you can always come back to it and it will be here waiting.

    Would You?

If it meant giving up my daily life with my wife and kids NO way. They mean the world to me. If I was single and in an earlier phase of my life, then yes by all means I'd go for it full steam ahead.

    magic e-books

You'll love the Fitzkee books, but keep in mind that his word is not the gospel and he was also writing in a different time period from current days. Although, practically everything he writes about is fairly accurate and makes for some very good, quick reading.

    Ringnature - Ed Ellis

Hey Fellas, Today Ed Ellis and I were proud to get to release one of his pet effects, RINGNATURE, that he has performed everywhere including the Magic Castle, Blackpool, private shows, etc. When he taught this to me two years ago I was floored how easy it was, yet it destroys layman and...

    Booya!

Jacob, let us know how this goes. There is a ton of great advice here and I really like Draven's approach. I'm actually getting ready to get into working at a Winery and am going to be going through the same process in the next two weeks. I'll let you know how mine goes as well.

    Booya!

Brendan is correct. I would say that you are in a confidential contract and cannot disclose information. Your dad sounds like my dad who is 57. They are from the older generation and can't stand to see how our generation spends money so freely and how much things cost. My dad went nuts on me...

    Booya!

I would absolutely NOT work for anything lower than $25.00 per hour not matter how many magicians are there with me. I may sound arrogant, but I would not even work for less than $50.00 an hour. If it were me I would talk to your friend and alternate weeks and ask the owner if he will pay you...

    Warped cards

Faro them over and over with multiple packets facing opposite directions. Continue to shuffle the cards face up and face down and Faro them. The warp will work itself out.

    Need Anybodies Help...

I have not bought from them before, but I have purchased cheap knock offs from ebay before and all I'm going to say is that 9 times out of 10 you get what you pay for. I'm in agreement with David on this, if it is that much lower than US retail, good chance it is a knock off and they are just...

    Skype Session: What to do?

If it were me I would definitely have a list of questions, almost like an interview and go right down my list maximizing every minute I had. I would also ask him to take a look at some of your card moves and critique them. Perhaps your double lift, tilt, etc.

    Paper Crane Magic?

I've been very happy with the video and audio quality of all of their downloads that I own. Mandy and her crew do a pretty darn good job. I may not always like the effects, but as far as quality of product and able to learn from the downloads, yes, they are professional. They are .wmv files...

    Dice Magic

Reuben Moreland performs and nice close up dice routine using cards where the dice are behind the cards holding them up on and incline and then at his command they begin to melt into the table as the card falls flat. I watched this at Magifest in Columbus, Ohio last year and it was OUTSTANDING.

What is your character in magic?

Monte, You bring up a good point that I sometimes have trouble with when performing for audiences who have known me for years. I don't want to just slip into some weird character and have them look at me like, "What the heck is he doing....why not just act like Rick?" It is much easier to...
