I think this would be a great idea, I think that it would help push magicians out of their comfort zones, seeing videos that aren't infront of webcams, and seeing magicians trying to achive new things, go for it!

I think you are pretty much gonna get the same answer from everyone here, respect the artist and buy the trick, or just leave it alone. Besides, on his site I think you have to buy the trick before it allows you to buy refills.

I agree with everything said here, you will probably use this book for the rest of your magic days. From the price, to the variety of the material inside the book, to the amount of material found in the book, I definitely think you should go buy this.

All the magic you buy dose not have to be single tricks, like I said, buy a couple of books, see if your local bookstore has the book I recommended, I also hear that the "Tarbell Course In Magic" is really good. There are TONS of great books out there, and I think there are allot of threads here...

theory11 and ellusionist for the most part sell gimmicks and the like (not saying they all are, but most). To be honest, the best way to learn magic is from books, books can teach you tricks with regular items, you can buy all these gimmicks and the one day you forget one, that is the one day...

But yes, I think that what you're talking about is real.....
