I actually let the audience do the magical move, it makes them feel more special, it makes them feel like they were the ones doing the magic. Also "did you feel that" is a great way to practice suggestion. It's all a suggestion. As you get more comfortable, you will notice that more and more...

There is only one thing I cannot get down yet, and that is cutting the hole in the cards. Can anyone help me with that? I didn't realize how hard it is to cut through a card with exacto knife.

Jason Latimer also uses clear cups. His routine also looks like real magic. As for this routine, there is only one thing I can say: o_O

You may wanna look at Andrew Mayne stuff for stage. He has some streching and vanishing half of the body illusions. Not sure of the quality since I don't own them. Also look at topits and pull gimmicks (ie. Gecko), for vanishing small things from your hands.

Also I would like to add the actuall way to practice. Let's say you want to do the top change, and you want the audience to look up at you while you do the move. Well, this is what to do... Take any "self working trick" (ie. key card principle trick), and just as you are about to put their card...
