    Mr. Jane is Sherlock?

I think that you hurt your own image here mate. We knew you as Sherlock the 19 year old, still trying to find your feet but you seemed like you had your head on for the most part the right way. This Mr. Jane alter ego though was a 25 pro, however there were a few inconsistencies in your...

    Nyuck...Nyuck...YUCK!

Whilst I have used impromptu stooges I personally do not think they are often used well. As for a close up and even stage work I am a huge supporter of dual reality. So in every effect that I have used impromptu stooges for I have almost completely replaced them with some form of dual reality...

You don't need anything for the diode of Kronos other than watches and paper.

    Watch Predictions?

The Diode of Kronos for stage. I don't think there is a better effect for stage use and that includes Osterlind's Watch Routine. For close up Looch's and Osterlind's are very good. Banachek''s PK Time is amazing if it fits your persona.

    A New Peek Wallet Topic

The HOW is quite large the dimensions folded and empty are about 100 x 125 x 10 or about 4' by 5' by 3/8's in the old system. The only flaw with the hideout is that it does really teach you anything other than how to get the peek. If you send a little time with it though you can have some...

    A New Peek Wallet Topic

I use the Outlaw Hideout and it is Great the 3M is just placed in there so it is only a matter of seconds to remove it and place it back in when you need it. Like I said test it in the performance area and see if you can gett a good peek. Also play with it in fron or a mirror and with a friend...

    5 Minute Routine Help

5 minutes is not enough time to develop a character to your audience. However it is more than enough to tell a story. Justin Kredible did it with the vanishing bandana as show on youtube.

    How does it relate?

Irrational plots (in reality, people know the deck of cards is not a elevator or a time machine) the audience may accept that this is what you are demonstrating much the same way it is in a movie. The same audiences will go as far as saying that, that is what you are doing. However, their...

Untitled by Luke Dancy ... any add-ons ?

Well just because the method is easy does not mean it needs to be improved. If you want to improve your magic you should read the Paper Engine or Anything by Darwin Ortiz the idea is the conservation of movement. Everything in this effects is motivated and does not have any suspicion. If...

What's your type of card magic ... ?

The three card routines I perform when I am working are. A multiphase tell reading routine. A memory demonstration. An influenced themed OOTW routine. In my stage shows I use a how to get into someones head and change their thoughts routine. Other things that use cards that I play...

    What Counts As A Gimmick?

Well if it is a huge thing to use this effect in a no gimmick battle why don't you clear it with the person you are battling.

    Complete Beginner... Help

Depends on how much you want to spend. But the top three would have to be; Bobo's Modern Coin Magic Michael Ammar's Easy to Master Coin Magic DVD. Or probably the best for ease of learning and the material covered. David Roth's Expert Coin Magic Made Easy.

    5 Minute Routine Help

The real thing that I see so many magician's fail on is their act goes nowhere. I see that in your show you make a bandana disappear and then a bowling ball appear. I am sorry but were is the flow? If anything I would make the bandanna appear than talk about making it disappear and then go...

WOW this is why I am happy T11 has not released any mentalism. Predictions are nothing like cold reading. I am not going to even explain the differences.

    How does it relate?

Well just because you are paid to be there does not mean people want to see your performance, or even accepting of it. If you want people to relate to you and this is hugely important if you want to get rehired, you need to connect with them and then leave them with a favourable impression.

    A New Peek Wallet Topic

I personally use the outlaw for many reasons. I have used the SAW and the Outlaw and I far and away love the Outlaw. Te peek is instantaneous and that 3M sheet means you can do it in front of the spectators without them seeing a thing. Although a word of the wise in low light environments...

New 1-on-1 : Card to Mouth by Dan White

I am quite happy they don't have any pure mentalism 1-on-1's. Billet work is something that you have to learn from experience. You cannot teach the most important part of billet work and that is to be natural. For those serious about billet there are many places to look that are easy enough...

    How does it relate?

The time machine plot is completely illogical as it has no real context in the real world. However, if you look at Gregory Wilson's version on Pyrotechnic Pasteboards he does it in such a light hearted way that the audience accepts the premise. Not rationally however they accept the comedy...
