Learn to do the sleight or move to perfection, then spend hours on what to say.

Wow Justin...would love to see or hear about the Wedding Show when it is all said and done. I'm sure even after you have performed it, you will tweak it again and again.

Learn to do the sleight or move to perfection, then spend hours on what to say.

Agent, Believe it or not....ha ha...Penn and Teller's show is scripted. It is almost exact word for word every time unless they put in a new effect.

    Patter Ideas?

Ha Ha. This is true. I do a very serious effect with a monkey bar and a little stuffed monkey that swings from rope to rope but I also act as if the monkey is alive and I have trained it and that the audience needs to stay quiet...blah blah blah. It plays really funny.

Now when I say scripted, I mean you've actually sat down and typed out your lines verbatim and have included your body movements. You know exactly how you are going to be positioned, you know what prop is in which hand, etc. I guess I should have clarified my original thread a bit more. By all...

Learn to do the sleight or move to perfection, then spend hours on what to say.

    Bill to Lemon question?

Always cut it yourself. If a spectator was to injure themselves on stage accidentally, now the entire mood of your show is diminished let alone crazy people out there who want to sue over everything and anything. Super glue as mentioned may work best for you.

    Patter Ideas?

What color is it? For example: if it is a yellow one you can talk about how the sun rises in the East and make it appear and how it disappears into darkness in the West. I'm just showing you a simple example. It could be silly patter that nobody believes but it remains entertaining or it can...

What decks can be used for the "Invisible Deck" trick?

Hey fellas, we are here to help each other so I am just going to come out and say it. Most people use Testor's Dull Cote spray from any hobby shop. They spray it on the backs to create the rough smooth finish. Normally from about a foot away is best. A light mist. It can be used on an entire...
