Here's a quick video I made this morning. The trick is Jay Sankey's Joking Around.

The only reason I never use gimmicks is because I'm to lazy to make them work correctly. I would rather just stick with my trusty deck of cards and keep practicing the sleights I know well, until they get better and better.
Get the facts before you make assumptions guys. :)
This was announced quite a few days ago, and he has reached the 16 minute mark in training. For the past few years since Drowned Alive, he has been training vigorously (sleeping in a tent that simulates air 15,000 feet, etc...) Keep in mind...

Sure Brad.

It would be cool to have a list somewhere. Here are a few of my favorite books...
A-Ha! By David Harkey and Eric Anderson
The Garden of the Strange by Caleb Strange
Building Blocks by Luke Jermay
Beyond Deception by Tobias Beckwith
Actually, Houdini was an incredible magician and a decent escape artist. The only reason he got so much fame is because he put nearly every penny he earned from his Esacpology towards advertising himself.
I've had the exact opposite of this problem happen before. I'll be doing a trick where I mess up on purpose, and they'll say "Yes, it was my card" when I know that it really isn't. It really annoys me.
