    Daniel Madison

He has become more mainstream, but is that really bad for Daniel. When he became an artist on this site you could link it back to his site. Giving a great amount of free advertising to him. Many people who had never really heard of him could have purchased his PDF's. Outlaw was nice and I...

Out of Sight, Out of Mind - CC2

That thought stealer routine was the hilarious. I was going to flame you after that but seeing as you live in Melbourne, it cannot be you.

    Burn Or Mystique?

It is a tough question on which will people enjoy more. In my opinion the tricks in burn will get better reactions however, you cannot really do too many of them in performance. It would be better as just one last effect. But you could make a nice routine out of the Tricks on Dangerous.

    Questions about Trilogy

A great online shop is Penguin. It is cheap, great shipping and a huge range. basically all I by from now days is T11 and Penguin because they offer the best of both worlds.

    Surfaced / Mystique

I don't know the mechanics of the clipshift, yet. But from what I know of it from the Queens it looks like it could be a killer off beat force. When I get the DVD I will share the Idea

    Trilogy Tricks or Dangerous Mystique

Maybe I am missing something but where are the force's in Trilogy, other than Hoffy Osbourne. There are many more control procedures and selection techniques in Trilogy. Dangerous is in my opinion far better than Trilogy. The tricks are more real world, I have said it before but I feel that...

    Some Trivial Relief

Sorry to thread-jack but each slight in the Paper Engine has either replaced or at least influenced the slights I use. You hit the nail on the head about the fine line between hardcore and smooth slights. P.S. I know it is not a card slight but some slights I use almost daily. Acidus...

    Some Trivial Relief

Out Jogged Herman shift - I love it because it looks so fair. Shapeshifter - I often will just use this as an hey what was that type moments. I will do a few cuts and stuff waiting for a bus. Then when I notice someone watching hit them with a shapeshifter and smirk. Aaron Fisher's Bluff...

    Trilogy Tricks reactions

I dont know how you get bad reactions with TiVo 2.0 people done care about that first change. They have seen most of it before (colour changes) but when you pull the card out of the centre for the deck and show the first card I often get gasps and laughs. The only thing I dont like about the...

    Control Idea...

I still think that it has lost all the purity of the effect if you add anything too it. Centre tears, peeks impression pads a very very useful. The whole control aspect is pushing the envelope a little too far. I believe it was Dai Vernon who said something along the lines that a good...

    Control Idea...

Interesting idea. I personally think there is nothing wrong with it the way W:H preforms it. The way I look at the routine is that it is real Dexter touched on this in is chat with Wayne. When you combine it with cards it may appear to be just a trick to the audience. Another idea is to...

    Static - Joel Paschall

The way I see it is that $5 is the bare minimum that they could charge for this. It could be free I suppose but the real question is how many people would buy if for $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, or $6. I assume that the $5 price point is the best in terms of profitability to the company. Theory 11 is...

    Dangerous vs The Devil's Picturebook

You cannot really go wrong with either book. I paper engine is a better read however (if that is important). After each slight or effect there is a page or so post thoughts section. I believe it teaches the effects better, but there are nowhere near as many. I feel that it is great because...

Mystique - How much of it is impromptu?

It is well worth the setup on every effect. Almost every sandwich effect requires a setup. You could use like the 2 of hearts and the 7 of spades but it does not look anywhere near as impressive or nice in general. Taking out a pair of mates is completely natural as it is within context...

    Newbie

Some points I often use: When you actually preform start off with very simple direct magic. Try to make your first piece last less than 2 minutes and as slight free as possible just after the waiter/waitress has taken either the drink order or main order. (Usually a dead moment in dinner...

Mystique - How much of it is impromptu?

One needs a dupe. One works better with odd back cards but it is not important. One requires about 10-15 seconds setup. The sandwich effects require a few seconds set up. Ace's Require a Few seconds setup.
