I think it is true that flourishes can help improve your magic sleights. But card manipulation is even more better for improving sleights than flourishes...

I had the same situation with invisible deck. Guy told me that i spoted the card while going trough the deck, and that i turn it fast enough that he couldn't see it. Ummm, even Bruce Lee couldnt do that...but Chuck Norris maybe...

He didnt eat the deck lol. And it's not camera trick either.
