I would go with the plain black. As you said, it contrasts the rope, is simple and therefore doesn't distract and also looks most professional (in my opinion).

I wouldn't really use cards, maybe for one trick if you have a camera projecting onto a screen, but no more. As Praetoritevong said, too small. You want something strong and not too long (hey, that rhymes!) for your opener, something a bit more involved and probably with audience participation...

Really liked them all, especially 1001. My only criticism really would be with BreakDownStreet, in saying that there's too many pauses. You lose a little of the flowing nature of the tune, which is a shame. Still, very nice. Well done on all three.

You could try having a look at the Double Palm Change, taught by Erdnase. Lovely move, show an amount of cards front and back, turn them over and they've been switched. That's probably what I'd use if the 4for4 wasn't an option. Alternatively you could try a palm and a lapping with a little...
