Like they said xtreme beginners is prolly the best beginners flourishing DVD out there. I would also suggest learning random flourishes on youtube.. A lot of ppl create pretty much original flourishes on there and they put tutorials for them..so i would just search *XCM or Cardistry tutorials*...

Be confident Pretty much any audience can pick up on your mood. If you are confident and having fun they will have fun too. Also if you really believe that you are doing something amazing then they will too. It's a pretty basic theory but it has really done wonders for me.
