    Where to buy Tally-Ho's?

First and foremost, I think you should find a local shop to find them at as 1) It will help your local community, and 2) I've found a lot of magic shops are good at knowing what their customers want/need. But online, you can always try Penguin. You can't buy in bulk to get a discount, but...

How did you get started in magic?

i'm actually writing a book about why I got into magic... but to sum it all up, it's because of a girl. But how I got started is different... I just knew these two little tricks for years and then I impressed said girl with a trick about a year ago and then I just started to learn more and...

Tore up, from the floor up!

Very nice reply... Your last point is very true. When I've performed Torn, there's sort of wait around the whole card just being restored, that when it's completely done, it's an aweing effect. I think what you explained with the four pieces being examined would be the best TnR ever...

Tore up, from the floor up!

i never really put the the rising action of a TnR and an ambitious card side by side before. I think there is something to say about the last piece in a piece by piece that is a bit more miraculous and that creates a bit of shine to the performance. Guy usually says that the last piece is...

Tore up, from the floor up!

ahahaha... kind of weird to be talking about you on the forum and then you "magically" appear in the discussion. And I was just talking to Phil at Kind of Magic about Seamless the other day as well. I think you are right in what you say about the last piece... both of you. I've been thinking...

Tore up, from the floor up!

I hope you don't think I was bashing your writing or anything like that as I enjoyed it quite a lot and would agree with most of it. I just think you could maybe a elaborate a bit more on certain parts to strengthen your argument. Actually... this is just my opinion, but in writing, you...

Tore up, from the floor up!

just a question, was this essay done for fun? For a website? For school? As far as your points are concerned, you persuade your reader to believe in them, though aren't exactly true. If a card is signed on the back, regardless of the number of other same backed cards there are, the...

    Cardistry Routine

very nice... I know I'd be impressed if I saw you do that in RL.

    Darn Hecklers!

This is so true... I mean, why try to impress someone who obviously isn't interested in what you're doing. And if it's a group of people, either they'll get the heckler to shut up or they'll be let down and be mad at said heckler for awhile.

The solution to a problem solved in a very weird way...

this is really silly. Is it really a hassle to just put stuff in your pockets? Or in a little bag. And I doubt that this can carry as much stuff as a bag could.

How often do you open a new deck?

My guardians lasted me forever and still hold together pretty well after 8 months... however, aristocrats seem to die really fast with me, as well as tigers and most other black E decks. I've got a lot of decks at home which I like to open just to try... so I guess every 2-3 weeks usually.

    Prophet with Canadian money

I don't have prophet, but I do have Richard Sanders' "Extreme Burn" which is a similar trick and goes in-depth about coloured bills. I'm from Toronto and Extreme Burn has worked well for me. Plus, Richard is Canadian so he probably knows from experience about using multi-coloured bills. I'm...

Where do you keep your cards?

I keep mine in a safety deposit box... Grand Theft Auto 4 came with one and it has done a good job of keeping at a good temp and keeping them in good shape.

    Jay Sankey's "Inseparable"

I like a lot of Jay's stuff, but stuff, but this isn't something I'd get, mostly because the Gimmick is kind of... I don't know, big and bulky and not something I would carry around. I do like the sandwich effect he does at the start... A nice transpo.

    Guide to creating magic

I'm sure this works for you, but it won't work for everyone. For me personally, I just get an idea walking down the street or at work or something, usually away from a deck of cards and I try to figure out what I'd like to see in the routine. You shouldn't have to question why you're doing...

    What's the greatest...

I have to agree with Eddie... everyone seems to have differring thoughts on Guardians and Wynns and Ghost Decks and what have you, but everyone seems to agree that Tally's are above average cards that they enjoy using.

Which of W:H's Tricks are most satisfying?

you're missing control which is one of my favourites... but I like Stigmata a lot.

    Wynns or Centurions?

i know it wasn't an option, but I like the Gaurdians a lot more than both... But between the two, I'd say Centurions just because I think they feel a lot nicer and people seem intrigued by the dark back. I've never had anyone think they're gaffed or something before, and if someone does, I let...

    Which is better?

I think the Black Ghost deck is nicer than both because of it's looks... but the feel of it is just like the black shadow masters so if you like that design I'd go for those. The Tigers are beautiful, but don't last as long and fade a lot faster than the other two.

    What is your favorite trick(s)?

I feel that the performer is more important than the trick. And it's not even about skill, but how a trick is performed that makes it great and interesting. Personally, I like ACRs. I love watching ACRs and seeing how a magician puts their own spin on the classic. I really love Brian...
