    Before you die...

I love performing for strangers... just being blind sided and asked is always a treat IMHO. Just stand somewhere with some cards and flourish and someone will usually ask you to do something. As for what I'd want to do, I'd like to master Card to mouth... ahaha...

    Distortion vs Panic

all i can say is I own Distortion and love it and get great reactions from it... A simple transpo alone usually gets a great reaction, and when you follow it up with distortion, people tend to go nuts. Since I don't have Panic, I can't say how easy it is to get in and out of, but it looks...

    Wounded Review

seems really cool... a bit dark, but it might be something I'd like to try. How's the pulse stop effect... I have W:H's Control, which I like, but I like how he did it in the video. I'm trying not to give too much away about how it's done, but is Smith's impromptu?

    Wounded by Robert Smith

sorry everyone... I saw the product and video and got a little excited.

    Wounded by Robert Smith

Has anyone seen this DVD? It looks pretty cool and a lot darker than other magic DVDs I've seen. http://www.kwmagic.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2581 There also a video up on youtube. It has a bunch of stigmata effects and a pulse stop. Yea, I know you're probably...

Classic Pass Question - Not Invisible Pass

My pass has never been detected before. There are a few things I do to have it not get noticed. 1) Misdirection - I usually ask the spectator a question, look for eye contact, and then pass. The pass just takes a second and they won't notice a thing. 2) I often tilt my hand backwards...

    Prophet question

I have Richard Sanders' Extreme burn which I love and have been told is pretty similar... On that DVD he goes into a bit of detail on how to use money from different countries and with bills of differing colours... like in my native Canada.

    Used Magic DVDs on eBay

a shop I go to is thinking of having a sort of Magic Garage sale where we bring in our old stuff we don't use much anymore and sell it. It's the same idea. I think the only thing that can be wrong in the situation is if the person selling it has copied the DVDs since the person buying the DVDs...

    On the stage

I think distortion might be a better crowd pleaser than Control. I think a camp talent show would appreciate it more. IMHO, control works a lot better in a more intimate setting with maybe under 10 people. I think the impact of the trick might get lost when so many people are spectating...

Good tricks? Best way to practice?

As for practice, just keep doing it and wait more than a few days before bringing it out to your friends and whoever. I know, you learn something and are excited to do it, but just take your time with it and don't rush to perform. Magic isn't just a bunch of moves, it's how you present them...

    Mercury Aces

nice performance. I'm not big on the trick though, but I think this is one of the best performances of it I've ever seen. I think you should check out Richard Sanders "Hardcore Packet" on the Sankey Sanders Sessions 1... I think it's a better trick overall... But anways... very nice...

    Hoyles

I never see them here for some reason, but have seen them at K-mart in the states... from the lack luster response, I won't be in a hurry to get them.

    Guardians

I love them... they're my favourite card. Did you buy a brick before you tried them out? Kind of risky... but I've never really heard anyone not liking them before. Personally, I like them more than the centurions and the Split Spades.

    Cool Magic Song...

When you typed that first part of the song I thought you were thinking of Magic by The Cars... which is another awesome song IMHO. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DxgU4nnyAK8

A Disease Only Magicians Get: OSD

I definitely have it... luckily, my boss is fine with it. The only thing is when I'm at home and I want to work on some writing I end up shuffling instead of typing.

    Hoyles

i guess I'll give it a try if they're cheap... I was kind of happy with Aviators.

    Hoyles

I never see any talk of Hoyles cards anywhere. It's always Regular Bikes or Tallys or Bees and even Aviators. I've personally never seen a pack of Hoyles in Canada. Can anyone explain how they feel to me in comparison to any other common decks?

    Critique on My Site Requested

looks awesome... very neat, simple, organized, and professional looking. I wish I could make a site that looked like that.

    Comment about my video

Very nice... you have spelling error at the beginning though. You but "Any Many More" instead of "And Many More". What's the deck with the two dogs on the back? I had those as a child and forget what they're called. Any chance you know were I can get them? Anyways... really nice video...

    Guitar Levitation?

I think it would be cool to do it so that it looked like a humming card spinning really fast... but is probably just a pipe dream. You might have to use an ibanez for weight issues as Gibsons are like twice as heavy
