The Amazing Johnathan said he liked Believe. I think Criss has dug his own hole a little, but I also think magicians try too hard to be haters. The Blaine hate used to be way worse and Copperfield before that.

Yea, he WAS called out. He DID go bankrupt. However despite those facts his flim flam buisness is currently better than ever, and he is not alone. These frauds are actually getting more common.

Actually I was pointing out the e is no different, so your point was false. My other point had to do with the insights you can get from actually hearing and discussing why you dislike something. If you open your mind a little you can find nuggets of wisdom in the discussion.

Actually there is a thread at e called "Do you like Criss Angel, why not?" It echos alot of the "bashing" in this thread. I don't agree with haters, but I also don't agree with any forum supressing discussion of the type when it can lead to an understanding of what we should avoid.

Tv is generally on the side of the believers. Skeptics are a minority and generally don't seem attracted to shows as well as the believers. Paranormal is big buisness, just like religion and fear. There is more money funding cancer than fighting it.

Actually these frauds can do some real damage beyond finacial problems. Kind of like gambling addiction doesn't just make somebody broke. These things ripple into the lives of loved ones, and can lead to bigger things.

I would buy that. If they were sober I would pass.

Alot of these people don't need tragic events to believe though. People tend to allow themselves to fancy this nonsense to make life seem entertaining, and the buisness of letting people buy into the paranormal rewards more than disproving it. Thats why so many of the hacks end up on Tv, and so...

People who want to believe are the best at ignoring logical arguments. They don't have faith in the skeptics, so they don't listen. There will always be the faithfull, the skeptics, and the frauds.

I think he was trying to point out that "digital dissolve" is 2 words. Sadly a cat attacked his keyboard. Meanwhile digital dissolve is probably the worst named recent trick.

It's just the current trend. It does make it easier to call out names without acronyms. Video game forums are acronym cRaZy. It can be annoying. I don't see the trend shifting soon.
