    Show us your business card!

Gabe, I'm being brutally honest here. Neither look very good. I for one could not make a good one either so I paid a professional to make mine for me and it was the best move I made on it. He also gave me the template so I could make changes and reprints whenever I want. The drawn cards do...

    Hypnosis

Tally, Just make sure you know what you are doing before you take a show because there can be some legality issues if something goes wrong. You need to know what to do if a situation goes bad or someone gets hurt. I've seen it happen before. Especially if you aren't doing the rapid hypnosis...

    Best Glue For Gaff Cards?

I have no idea if that would wrinkle or not. At least with the Elmer's non wrinkle even if you get excess seeping out the sides...it dries clear and then if you just rub slightly....the excess falls right off the side of the card.

    Signature

Looked great. I liked it. I've seen many effects very similar to it but you do a nice job.

    Show us your business card!

Gabe, I like the artwork you have put into your card but I have to agree that as a potential customer who may be older or someone not familiar with that "style" of font may have a very difficult time reading your name and contact info. I would change it a bit to make the font a bit easier to...

    Best Glue For Gaff Cards?

I've used Elmer's Non wrinkle rubber cement and have not tried the remount spray but do use the Remount spray for other gaffs. I have not tried to leave it on a card indefinitely. With the Elmer's rubber cement I do use a rolling pin as suggested in Martini's card splitting dvd.

    Victorian Close-Up Pad

On the Cafe, Eric Jones says he loves it. He didn't like the brass corners. I just happened to come across that thread over there if that is the same thread you read. Oh well, if you are getting it anyway, have fun and enjoy.

    Victorian Close-Up Pad

Close up pads are definitely overrated. I use one only in my close up show but 8 times out of 10 I am doing strolling or off the cuff magic at parties and the magic is happening in the spectators hands. I wouldn't spend more than $25 bucks on one. You can also find small jewelers mats...

Hello - I wanted to introduce myself...

Welcome to Theory 11. You will enjoy your stay as long as you can take some constructive criticism here and there. As it has been mentioned already....there is a wide range of magicians here with little experience to full working professionals. Pick our brains man. I have learned a lot by...

Looking For Good Card DVD Set

You may want to look into the Jon Armstrong set that is just priced around $100 I believe. His material is top notch. I am actually thinking of purchasing it myself.

    Entertainment!

As I perform close up for people I keep a fun, laughing, environment, where nobody really even cares to catch me. The people are having fun watching the magic happen. The mood doesn't even allow for people to call me out on a sleight. Occasionally afterward someone may catch me off to the...

    Frozen Help

I have it but barely perform at all due to the set up and window of opportunity you have to perform the effect. Without going into exposure I just wished you had a bit more time than you do. There are too many scenarios that come into play that could throw your performance off by 10-15 minutes...

    Off Topic

What does one mean when someone says off topic? Would that mean something magic related that doesn't fit any of the other Theory 11 categories, but still deals with magic? Or...are they referring to posting / asking a question that has nothing to do with magic at all? For example: Got a new dog...

Effect for Special Needs or Handicapped Children

Dylan, That is EXACTLY the feeling I want people on here to get when they perform for someone with special needs. It hits home and you feel so good for that child and the moment and memory you just created. Thank you for sharing that story. I'm so glad I'm not the only who could feel that...

    Coin Under Watch

I do not do coin under watch unless it is my own watch, it goes under for a vanish. I normally do this with a flipper and a shell thus making 3 coins vanish one at a time. Josh Jay and Garrett Thomas have routines with this. As far as getting it under someone else's watch for an...

    New Paper Crane Magic

Thanks Shane for clarifying and getting into some details. I hope this really puts you on the map. You deserve it and really put everything into our craft. I can't wait to see people who have bought this start reviews. BTW...dude, it is not even cold yet in Ohio....ha ha. Wait until winter...

    New Paper Crane Magic

Is it just me or when the teaser shows "Papercrane Productions" the "u" in productions looks like a typo and that it shows a letter "v". Maybe it is the font. I am just really anal about typos. Anyway...look forward to seeing this effect / system.
