My usual patter is "So, the card can rise to the top but occasionally it keeps going, it gets a bit excited" (Card to Mouth) "and once it's turned up in my mouth, it starts turning up pretty much anywhere." (Card to Impossible Location)

Oh and I'm working on the Diagonal Palm Shift....

I created a four card force in which the spectator cuts to each of the four cards.

I usually use either the convincing control or a control I came up with (both put it on the bottom) then shuffle it to the top.

I give up, I'm stumped. If it's a gimmick, I dunno how it works. If it isn't, I'm even more lost.

Noticed this on Witness and then again on Distortion and Control. I reckon it's genius. It was kind of annoying though. I couldn't watch the rest of the DVD until I'd stopped laughing...

I recently purchased teh Devils Picturebook by Derren Brown. This is a brilliant DVD and I would instantly recommend it to anyone. The one thing that I have been having problems is the lapping vanish. He doesn't explain how to get out of his deck vanishes. I really wanna get it good as it is...

Hey, this is a thread about developing your own style of magic. You see, my problem is that I know quite a few tricks. I just can't sell them to the audience. For example: on the Distortion or Witness DVD, the audiences are like 'AAARRRGGGHHH OMG FREAK OUT!@!@!@!@!@!' (you get the picture) yet...
