Kioku is really worth it. It takes a little memory work, but once you've got it down, it's easy and you can focus on presentation. It is perfect for walk around, if you're not rushed. It'll take a good 2-3 minutes to perform, 5 if you want to include cold reading.

Kioku is a favorite of mine. I perform that a lot, I also often put together a few Psycological Forces form Banachek's book for a good impromtu routine, needing just a pen and a notepad. It's pretty awesome.

I thought discussing "practical effects" was stupid, but practical decks? huh? I use bikes. I have a gazillion of them. (quite a few bricks). I also often use Bees. Sometimes I treat myself to Bee Watermelons or Custom decks.

If I have 3 coins, it's Sankey's Mr. Clean Coins Across. If I have two coins, It's Gregory Wilson's Quicksilver, ending w/ coin under watch. If I have one coin, it a few vanishes + reproductions.

I used to know all the fancy controls, (diagonal palm shift, the pass, svengali control, clipshift, cherry control, ect) but now that I've gotten into simple and direct magic, I'll usually use a double undercut, or Lee Asher's Pulp Friction (gotta love that)
