    Essential reading materials?

Yes, definitely. Also "Thirteen Steps to Mentalism" by Corinda is awesome. (such an overused word:()

A Review of Every Deck I've Ever Owned

Exactly, that's what a review is. Stating my opinion. I do not do gambling sleights, so that's why I didn't give the Bees a very good review. I've never actually owned the Ghost Deck, I actually used what a friend of mine who does own them said. Bicycle Masters are actually $4.00. Try...

    Hmm...

Close, but the one I'm thinking of is something like, "You can search for the secret, but you'll never find it because you aren't really looking." That sounds like a really cool English class.

The Trilogy part II or CC2

A Review of Every Deck I've Ever Owned

The more suspicious they are, the higher I rate them on the suspicion scale. You're right that Vipers are different than Tally-Hos. It sort of slipped my mind. I haven't looked at them much.

    Poster: Magician For Hire

I like the idea of an old-style magic poster, but that would need a lot of ink, thus a lot of money. I've been using the word "thus" a lot lately. Look at my recent posts, you'll see.

A Review of Every Deck I've Ever Owned

No I have not. I almost bought some Vipers once, but I couldn't take that $8.00 price tag. My local magic shop used to carry them but not anymore. I might pick some up from T11 soon though.

The Trilogy part II or CC2

Yes, I'm more interested in cuts and maybe a few shuffles. Also Xtreme Beginners is about $10 out of my price range unless I skip the Centurions which I'm not going to do.

A Review of Every Deck I've Ever Owned

For centuries, magicians have been searching for the ultimate deck of cards. Ok, maybe not centuries, but for a while. I decided to make this review of every deck I've owned. First, let me describe what I will be grading: Finish: How smooth the deck is out of ten, ten being the highest Stock...

    A deck of cards...

Thank you for that, I just try to be myself now. Sometimes I'm David Blaine, sometimes I'm David Copperfield. I just perform the way I fell comfortable.

The Trilogy part II or CC2

That looks pretty good, it almost looks like too much material! (slightly kidding, slightly not.) I've thought about that before, but it always seemed too hard for me, even though it's called Xteme Beginners. I'm mostly interested in cuts.

    Thank you for that link.

    Hmm...

To people twelve and over I usually say, "I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you." For kids I usually tell them a book called, "Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic." Even if that's not where I learned the particular effect. There's also a quote from the movie, "The Prestige," but I...

The Trilogy part II or CC2

A little bit of both really. I'm starting to lean towards the Trilogy. How much easier is motion?

The Trilogy part II or CC2

I haven't bought any multi-sleight/trick DVDs in a while and I want to get one. I'm deciding between "Crash Course 2, the Ambitous Card," and "Dan and Dave's the Trilogy, part II, flourishes." Here's my situation. I've been doing the ACR for a while, but I've never learned it from...
