Push Through Shuffle - Jason England

I think airing out the deck (like Jason in the vid) before the strip-out helps to smooth out the stripping action. I've read the shuffle from CC3 and ECT but wanted to see what it should look like and any more pointers. For that I think the 1on1 is very good indeed. On the subject of...

    The most amazing trick...

It depends on who they are but if people know them, there must be a reason for it. They are either respected or have contributed to the magic community. Noone spreads a word about the terrible magician apart from laymen.

    Good Tricks - Gambling Theme

By far the finest gambling trick is found in RRTCM. Poker Puzzle i believe is the name. A demonstration of a bottom deal with a great kicker. Shuffled deck, impromptu. To be honest, you can make an Ambitious card into a gambling routine. Or any other trick for that matter. I do love Andrew...

Doesn't the Grey Shuffle require a strip out. Truffle doesn't.

Yeah i (and many others) really enjoyed your vid, keep it up. You wouldn't believe the number of times i've tried to film my tamed spades routine, it's a real bugger to get it right. We'll see though, have a good one. Dima

    Slow motion collectors

Have to agree on that one. Robbie Moreland's Elevator is awesome, Allan Ackerman's Maxi Twist feels very polished and Jon Armstrong's Sandwich effect does the job as well. All great but the rest of the stuff is a bit "show me something!".

    Visual Reset

Hey it's not the best Reset, i would say the best one is Bebel's. Zenneth is still a fantastic magician and "The other cheek of the Moster" was one trick that fooled the hell out of me and i loved it.

    Visual Reset

There is no need for patter when everything is seen on the screen. All the moves are justified, he takes a card and changes it. He finds the cards while shuffling, whats not justified? When you perform a colour change, it is quite obvious that there will be heat on the deck. The final ace...

    Visual Reset

That one in Kev's book is very good and for me, probably the best trick from there. And what's wrong with being a "purist"?

Can someone tell me where to find this reset?

It's three different tricks i believe. The first one is Lee Asher's found in one of his pdfs, the second looks like Transpozition by Oz and the last one is the standard Reset by Paul Harris.

    The Weekly Debate: #3

I don't see magic as strong as it used to be but i'm glad that there are people that move us all forward, as a unit. Some time ago, magic flourished because of the Professor, Fred Kaps, Marlo and many many other fantastic performers. People that contribute to magic, rather than just make a...
