To get an honest answer to this, I have wanted my own decks printed for a long long time since I started working full time as a magician back in 99. I think this will be the year I suck it up and make it happen. I have had the back design done since 1999.

Also the books are from the 90's where you couldn't walk into a shop or dealers room let alone crack open a book or magazine and not find tons of packet and sandwich effects. Those were the thing for a while. But the books are still great.

I have Creative Magic and love it. The essays in the back of the book are great and it is still in print to easy to find. But yes Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz is the better starting point if you can find a copy.
