    Suggestions for the Theory11 Staff

Really? Of my three suggestions, which have already happened? I can't track my submitted media. They don't sell Wynn Icon cards. And the 1-on-1 is a rather recent issue.

    Suggestions for the Theory11 Staff

This is not another one of those "I was this, and this, and this, and you need to stop doing this" kinds of threads. Theory11 is an amazing example of how quickly an online community with semi-mature members can come together and make a name for itself. However, I believe that it is still in...

    Dropping Cards

Laugh with your audience, and casually bend down to pick them up. Most of your spectators will also help you.

    Joel Paschall - I thought...

I think the staff should stop releasing 1-on-1s every week; bi-weekly, or even monthly, would be just fine. There's no need to have the option of learning something new every week unless you are already a master of that which you know.

    C.f.b.

The video has been submitted to T11; let's hope it doesn't get rejected :P Unfortunately, it's a solo performance. My friend couldn't get the videos off of his camcorder (it's not a digital one, meh).

    The Destiny Effect

So, it's been over two months; where the hell is the video?

    Ditching a card

Jimmah, don't over complicate the trick. Don't make it involve too many sleights or gimmicks. And as for getting rid of the gaffed card(s), I have a method which works for me, and will arouse very little to no suspicion. However, before I tell you how to do this, I need to know one thing: -...

    Custom Cards: Info?

Alright, I've been into web and graphic design for some time now, and saw a thread about a guy designing his own cards, which got me thinking. Before submitting images to the USPCC: When designing the cards, what size do I make the image? Do I need to design every face, or just the Ace of...

Some raw footage was filmed today, more will be filmed in the upcoming days. Editing/uploading will take place soon ;)

    Andre Jikh 1-on-1?

As stated by J. Bayme, Theory11 is working with Andrei on several projects. In due time, I'm sure that Andrei will have 1-on-1s and tricks of his own.

    Surfaced!

Oh, dear god. If you have all ten of your fingers (really, at least two or three would work just fine), then PLEASE type out your words so that we do not have to rack our brains deciphering your sentences. As TheMagicalSock said, what do you mean by this? Yes, they will be selling many more...

    MeBeam Down?

    Um, what is mebeam?

    C.f.b.

I'd be interested in seeing/reading a description of this effect. Just an FYI, in C.F.B., the spectator's card REALLY DOES go into the case. It's not palmed. No. Nothing like that. As mentioned above, it's not palmed and is actually placed inside the card case.

    C.f.b.

Yes. The spectator can place the cards inside the card case. This is nothing like Braue's popup. (This also addresses Dave Wiltrout's post) C.F.B. stands for "Card From Box". I was feeling rather uncreative when coming up with the name :) By using the term no sneaky moves, I mean...

    Yesterday at the library...

Great story, Dylan! I've been kicked off premises for performing before, too. Hehe, maybe we should keep it simple ;)

    C.f.b.

History: To my knowledge, I am the original creator of this little gem. All research I have done has only strengthened this belief. If, after reading the effect, someone has proof otherwise, please PM me the information you have. Published history: [ 2008 ] "Journal One" by Ben Den Hartog...

theory11 playing cards : Rumors? Confirm?

There is no such thing as a "brick of 9". A deck is a single deck. A half brick is six decks. A brick is 12 decks. A 1/4 gross is 36 decks. A 1/2 gross is 72 decks. A 3/4 gross is 108 decks. A gross is 144 decks. Those are the standard quantities that decks are sold in.

Thank you for the responses- I think I'll look into purchasing a backdrop set.

    Yesterday at the library...

You're in for one of those "I forgot how good this felt; darn, i love magic" stories. As I've mentioned before, I've been practicing the art of illusion somewhat sporadically over the past seven years. I started getting "into it" again about a month and a half ago (and also, as a side note...
