I Need A Tagline... Any Ideas?

I wouldn't go near "entertainment no longer sucks...." with a 20 foot pole. Dan Sperry uses something very similar to that as his tag line.

    YouTube Scammer

Bill, honestly man I think I just died a little inside. I get what your saying from a consumers point of view, but in reality you're openly encouraging the support of internet exposure of other magicians products. That's just not cool man. Now I certainly don't want this thread to downward...

Spello Change - Where to get gimmick?

If you go into said office store, and explain to them very very nicely that you only need 1 (office depot is good at this) they usually just give it to you for free, if it's what I'm thinking of. The trick though is you have to be willing to buy one from them. Since they can't usually charge...

I Need A Tagline... Any Ideas?

I can see what you're trying to do here (all-be-it failing) with the entire Xplosion thing. You want a word that sounds "Cool", "Edgy", and "Hip". (Is hip even a word you teens use anymore, or am I just dating myself?) But in reality it just doesn't work overall. Really the only demographic...

    Who should we emulate, exactly?

Riiiiight because Blaine, Copperfield, Penn, & Teller are all "douche bag" magicians, or have an overall negative public opinion. Frankly, I think it's a bit of a farce to try and draw out anything constructive from this video. I see what you're trying to do here Brad, but I think you could...

    Criss Angel / Twilight

Oh look! A dead horse, and someone just left these clubs carelessly laying about. Gosh I wonder what we could do with them?

    TalkMagic

I'd be very careful using a blanket statement such as "most people" because most people could pertain to anyone up to and including me; and I for one, don't see myself as acting in a manor that is counter productive to the community here.

Hollywood & Highland Says NO to Super Heros

Yep. The super man on that used to work for Universal Studios for a very short period of time. He was an "interesting" fellow.

Hollywood & Highland Says NO to Super Heros

I'm surprised. He's saying that the illusion of freedom is indeed a powerful illusion. By asking Copperfield to take notes, he's implying that he (and other magicians vicariously) can learn something about illusions from that example.

It's Our Fault Criss Angel Is Famous

That TV show was "Supernatural" season 3 episode 12 I believe. Season and episode number I'm not rock solid on, but if I really wanted to I could go to my DVD shelf and look it up. They blatantly make fun of Criss with a character in that specific show.

Hollywood & Highland Says NO to Super Heros

You do need a permit to work the streets in LA but there are certain area's like Hollywood and Highland, 3rd street promenade (Santa Monica), and Venice beach where street performers have been known to set up shop and do their thing without fear of being harassed by the cops.

Hollywood & Highland Says NO to Super Heros

The LAPD has enforced a city wide ban on the long time running tradition of costume characters and super hero's that have been known to walk up and down the infamous intersection in down town Hollywood resulting in several arrests. While the costumed performers and street artists have been...
