    Triple Shuffle

Nuh-uh! :p Eh, didn't really feel like correcting him; I've gotten some "bad reactions" from correcting people, so I try to stay away from it; he'll figure it out eventually.

    Triple Shuffle

Well, unfortunately, I won't be getting it until tomorrow, so I will include that in my review!

    Triple Shuffle

I can already tell this is going to be a repeat of Static: However, I'll be buying it, as I've wanted to learn it ever since Joel showed it to me at Cal Magic. It was one of the few things that night that my friend came away saying, "You have to learn that Triple Shuffle thingy." He said...

    Dealing With Bad Reactions

Me too. "And this is the One Handed Shuffle. You know what I had a girl call this last night? She called this one " A Lonely Guy"..."

    Learning a new sleight

I first get the sleight down. It doesn't matter if it's really choppy rough, and horrible looking. It doesn't have to be smooth at this point. I do this over and over, until I have the basic mechanics down. Then, I go to the mirror, and see how I can make it smoother and overall more natural...

    Dealing With Bad Reactions

Yeah, I like it, because it tells the spectators they need to step it up a notch with their reactions, while being funny at the same time; kills two birds in one stone, IMHO.

How did you get started in magic?

It all started back in... 3rd Grade. I got a little magic kit from a Scholastic Book Order, in which they would send you some tricks, the instructions, and each time they sent out a book order, you could order again, and get new tricks with new instructions. From the sounds of it, it was kind...

    Dealing With Bad Reactions

What I like to say, in an obviously joking manner, is, "Hold your applause... oh, you were!" Got that from good ole' Greg Wilson.

    Believe - Joel Paschall

It's definitely the first effect that I've really poured my heart and soul into. I mean, I've taken time with effects before, but just to let you guys know... I still haven't performed this. Something about this effect made me really want to take my time with this one and give it all I have...

    Money Issue

You realize that some people charge up to $300 for a magic show, right? $15 is beyond dirt cheap.

    Believe - Joel Paschall

Nope, no angle restrictions at all. I'll have to add that to my review- something I forgot!

Using this beautiful art to our advantage

Mods, you might want to change the title of this thread... I thought it was about a toy at first. :p

I need some help with routines...

You need to be your own magician, be original, and come up with your own routines. If you're ready to take magic to the next level (going pro), you need to start doing these things on your own. Sorry, but it's the truth.

    My Clipshift

Things like "u" instead of "you" annoy the heck out of me. I mean, would it kill people to take the five seconds to click the spell check button? Thing of how much easier it would be to read everything. And no, he wasn't just abbreviating something; filth's grammar and spelling are always...

    My Clipshift

To quote Obi-Wan: "Then you are lost." It may be more "fulfilling", but will you get the tips on the technical/presentation side of things that only the creator can offer? Tips he got through years of experience? Exactly...

    My Clipshift

I'm just using the evidence given to me; you posting a video of a move not yet released. To me, that's pretty unethical, and shows you don't have respect for the art. There's no reason for profanity or getting angry, it's just my opinion.

    My Clipshift

Uhh... no you don't. If you really respected the art, and the creator, you would just wait for it to come out to learn it.
