oh i kinda get it now. The "selected" card magically appears in between the 5 folded cards. The first time i saw the trick i didn't count how many folded cards they were in the beginning.... Once again, magic is supposed to be direct, unless this trick is supposed to amaze only PhDs....

I don't get it. Either that is one of the best tricks in the world, or one of the worst ever. Also, the Classic Force (on yourself) was very obvious, anyone from miles away can spot the awkward deck separation.

I downloaded at least 100GB of magic over the past 2 years. I stopped ever since Angel went down,(thanks CRIA!) and got rid of most of the the material. From my experience, I've learned that I tend to perform only the tricks I purchase legally. And the ones which I get illegally didn't mean...

I totally agree with The Dark Angel. Deception is the foundation of all magic. The entertainment value builds upon the magician's ability to relate the deception to his audience. In the end of the day, magic ain't magic if it can be explainable by laymen....

Mitchell was right. Showmanship is not everything, has never been, and will never be. A bad trick is a bad trick no matter how good the performer is. Just like how a film with horrible script will always be bad despite of the director.

i think Profit is too explicit, that's why they named it Prophet instead.

I think the clicked image depends on the resolution, i'm using a 14' laptop at 1280 x 800 and Lee's entire hand is just the size of my palm. This is ridiculous since I jammed with Lee 2 months ago and I never noticed his hands that small.

I too think Matt totally deserves the prize. His story is so emotional and real. It reminds us that magic is all about that tiny priceless connection between people, not about merely showing off and fooling people.
