I don't get how you can easily make a knot by simply rolling up the ends.

Good to know others also having the same problem. I got TOOC book recently and I too can't seem to make the "knot" as illustrated in Figure 12. I haven't tried all day and broken lots of rubber bands because of it. Anyone got any advice?

It does work. I've had it for 2 months now and I've only performed it once, on my mom.

Incredible. this is the best LONG trick after Daryl's ACR. This trick is also well-structured and synced with the song that spectators give up looking for the "method".

very poor camera angle.... also a card control is generally a sleight which is subtle and almost invisible to laymen.

tampaunderground, your last statement was hilarious. I also think the material and the way he exposes magic are completely wrong and unethical. I think it's okay to expose tricks like the 21 cad trick and four burglars trick on a smaller scale. Or even exposing magic-related scams like 3...

This is so bad, even worse than the average amateur who buys a trick and performs it the next second. I'm sorry for your loss. The only thing you can do now is to hope the burglar went home and watched the dvds and decided he wanted to pursue magic seriously instead of committing such crimes.

Magician of the decade should be David Blaine. He has shaped the way laymen look at magicians and simple effects like card tricks and coin tricks.
