The spectator lays their head on a pillow, after a few seconds, the once soft pillow becomes rock hard. The magician shows the spectator his shoe with a violet shoelace then shakes his foot, the shoe vanishes, but the shoelace remains. The magician shows the spectator a broke cigarette...

They could be completely random ideas for effects as well. It doesn't have to be used with an already created effect. It's better to just invent something completely incredible! Mitchell

    The Creativity Thread

You're sitting at your computer, I want you to pick up any object, any inanimate object. Then I want you to think of 3 things or ways to make this object fit into your magic, and then post them here if you like. This will expand your creativity in magic. It did for me! Mitchell

    Saw by Sean Fields

I was extremely excited to receive this, after watching Gambit's video of it, I knew I just had to have this in my DVD player. So it arrives at my house, and I'm jumping for joy, and I prance to my room in a girlish manner. My mom and little sister looked at me like I had four heads. I dove onto...

My Eyes, the Eyes of a Magician

What does a magician see compared to laymen? Our perception is very different, and it will only become more unique. I know every time I look around the corner, I don't see room, I see thousands of ideas, tools and props. I see creations, my mind flows with fun thoughts and imaginative stories. I...

    Street Magic

I sort of find that hard to believe. If you had a street magic special, you'd have had this planned out already. I see tons of people claiming to have a show coming up, and none have ever come through. Mitchell

Hang 'em High by Bob Sheets

This is one of my only rope tricks, but I think it might be the best of them. Gimmick---> Well, the gimmick wasn't what I was expecting at all. When I opened this up and read the instructions, I was a little confused, but after I saw the gimmick, I knew exactly how to use it. The...

    Question regarding Scotch and Soda

I've tried coin to shoulder, but it's always just fallen off. I love having anything go to a spectator's pocket, because it's impossible to them, the believe that they would of felt it had it gone in their pocket. I've actually had it appear in a cake... Mitchell

Why is Borrowing an Object so VITAL?

I think you should really use a signed coin/object if it doesn't remain in sight at all times. Such as Sinful, which is really brought out by the signed coin. A lot of great effects use duplicates that aren't signed, it's all up to the performer. Mitchell
