Oh yeah, I would choose Guardians over even a 1st Edition Black Ghost Deck anyday. Actually, I take that back. I would take the Black Ghost Deck, sell it for $200 on Ebay to some loser who actually thinks they're worth that much, and buy me a bunch of Guardians. :D The fact is Ellusionist...

Magic is one art that you can pretty much do anything and break the language barrier. Assuming, of course, that your spectators are willing to watch and enjoy. Enjoy your trip, and I think you're doing a great thing! Looking forward to the video, too.

I agree with Justin... fighting's not the answer. If the guy keeps slapping the cards out of your hand, guess what? There's a real simple solution to this problem... don't perform when he's around! Voila! Problem solved... no violence, no angry words.

Zachmonky used to have a video of one on his YouTube account, but it looks as if he deleted it. Let me tell you this- I work with cards everyday, and until he crumpled it up, I would have sworn it was a deck of cards. They look good... trust me.

That was very nice. Like I've told other people- I respect that you've poured so much time into this, but honestly... what's the point besides being able to show off to other magicians? I would much rather use a little good ole' misdirection and execute my far less-than-perfect Classic Pass...

Or, do the same thing as Dima suggested, except doing a coin trick or whatever in between, say something along the lines of, "Actually, I'm feeling pretty good, so why don't I do one more for you guys?" That being said as you pull out the switched deck. Works like a charm.

Like I said before, theory11 is a business, they have to make money somehow. The 1st Edition Black Ghosts, IMO, weren't anything special at all, just a huge marketing scheme. Just like any other promotion. They're just a way to make money, and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Yeah. That's an extremely long time. And if you were one of those crazy people that make a deck last for three months, you'd have a 36 year supply. Holy crap.

True, but I think people have every right to complain about the price (no, I'm not one of those people), simply because for... about $27 more, you could get Kenner's book Totally Out of Control and get Five Speed included, or for about $7 more, you could get Joel Paschall's Believe or Lee...

Like I said, if you use cards like me- about a deck a month, maybe a little longer with Guardians, this would last for 12 years. That is a very, very long time...

I don't know, Killer Spies is pretty darn amazing. And the guy using Killer Spies used a WHOLE DECK! lol, I'm just messing with you, Rich... nice video, I enjoyed it. But if you get a chance, check out Killer Spies.

That seems pointless to me. But if theory11 gave away 144 decks, like they're planning to, you would have to use 12 decks a month... that would be a brand new deck of Guardians every 2 1/5 days... on average. Or, if you used about a deck a month like I do... they would last you 12 years. Wow...
