    YouTube Tutorials

Me too, I got my interested sparked by simple flourishes on youtube. I believe that people should watch sometime first to see if they are interested and then purchase something like Xtreme Beginners later.

    YouTube Tutorials

Before I get flamed, yes I have used the search function. My question is, is it wrong to post simple flourish tutorials on youtube. I am not talking about complex things like on decknique, but maybe simple moves such as fans, charlier cuts etc. Also what are your thoughts on such tutorials?

    Yet to use cards...

You can't just jump from 0-10 unless you naturally love attention. Like people have said ease yourself in. I wasn't able to show my whole routine to people until one year into card magic, where I was able to deliver my patter properly. Everyone has nerves, just take baby steps and pretty...

    Invent a trick or variation?

I would call it a new variation unless the concept you developed is solely your own.

    Hardest Flourish?

Pandora is the hardest to get smooth. L-cuts are also hard to get smooth. Hardest move to get down for me is the Eye-Cut but then again not sure if its really a flourish.

Absolute Vodka Deck or Old Aladdin 1001 Deck

Absolute vodkas are amazingly thing, flexible and almost feels like plastic cards. They feel similar to the alladins because both are smooth, but alladins have a more springy and stiffer stock.

    Your thoughts on Brad Christian

E is a business, hype is a part of marketing. Like it or not they are effective at what they do. Brad imo, is not bad. Hes definitely a good teacher, and frankly I don't give a sh*t about his eyeliner. Wayne houchin and David blane both have eyeliners..so what.

New 1-on-1 Tonight :: Jason England Returns

Im fairly sure its going to be the bottom deal. Center deal maybe, that that move in itself is amazingly hard, and is one of the elite 'moves' imo, so I doubt they will sell this for 10 bucks.

    Eye Cut

Lol Cheers Josh To put things simply. 1) No tutorial 2) Most people learn't off original performance even thou it was unethical. 3) I myself was a noob when I got the eye-cut down, so don't worry about some people here, everyone was a noob once. 4) If you have dedication, you can...

    New to Magic Questions..

It really depends on your learning style. If you are a visual learner then some DVDs may be your start, but if you want volume and don't mind a bit of reading, then Royal Road to Card magic, then Card College, then Expert at the Card Table (preferably in that order) will get you to pro in no...

If I make it into the big time within the 5.5 years, I will use my money to fund for a post graduate degree, which...

    Question for all the flourishers?

    1) Not everyone uses it, its only if you prefer it. If you use fanning powder, then your cards may become more difficult to use for magic. 2) It really depends on your natural ability and how much work you put into flourishes. Some people can pick it up within a day, while others might take...

    Truffle Shuffle

I regularly use the heinstein in my performances, Its a great shuffle and provides more cover than truffle, however what Shanku said is right, and there is a few moves that need to be performed for a false one shuffle sequence. Ultimately it is why you prefer, If I was new to this, I would...

    S.W Elevator Reactions

Elevator card does indeed cause great reactions, however it is the build up that depicts how great your reactions will be. If you incorporate it into an ACR then reactions will be better. But yes I have to agree. S.W elevator / an elevator card adds a component of skill to any magician.
