My Version of The Biddle Trick

Touche'. But I wanted to portray it as if someone was actually there. But I do agree completely, and if I refilm it when I get my new camera, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. By the way, assuming someone on here knows for a fact this is not original, can you point me in the direction of...

My Version of The Biddle Trick

Yes, I know what you're talking about when you say impromptu, but let's just say my deck is ALWAYS set up for something like this, so I don't necessarily have to worry about it. And the Classic Force does not allow a big and nice spread, or I would have a big and nice spread. ;)

My Version of The Biddle Trick

Honestly, I don't think your comment has any merit without some examples of what needed work, what was sloppy, what you caught. Just saying "it needs some work" doesn't hold any water with me.

My Version of The Biddle Trick

Hey guys, this is a version that I thought up of the Biddle Trick. I want to re-emphasize that I AM NOT claiming this to be original, but I did think of it on my own. So, without further ado: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh-TSgjO3n0 Enjoy it, and feedback is always welcome!

    Ethics test

I would tell them. Finding someone guilty or non guilty of murder is way more important that a few people knowing the secret to a magic trick.

    Card Stunts by Gregory Wilson

Yeah, that's what I meant by I liked the performances section more than the explanation section. I've been doing cards for about 5 years (since I first started magic), so I pick things up with them a little easier than some people. Greg is a quick teacher in this DVD, but he is nothing like...

Top two passes of all time: Paul le Paul's Spread Pass and Gregory Wilson's Backstage Pass. Nothing beats them, so don't try to deny it. :D

    Enough With Card Flourishes?

I didn't read the whole rant, but I got the gist of it. I agree, this is supposed to be a magic website, and 99.9% of the videos accepted in the media section are flourishing... it gets very old rather quickly. I submitted a video two months ago of me performing Schwing, which Chris Kenner...

    Card Stunts by Gregory Wilson

Card Stunts by Gregory Wilson The Official Spam- The DVD- The Layout- I personally love the layout of the DVD. It differs from Pyrotechnic Pasteboards in the aspect that it shows his whole show, with no cuts in-between effect to announce the name of the effect he's about to perform. It...

    Do you like Books?

I love reading books... whether they contain any effects or not. I prefer them over many DVDs, but maybe that's just because I've always like to read. :S

    Four by Aaron Fisher

Whoever responded to my earlier post- I completely agree how tricks can be bad because of angles and stuff, but if they don't like it because it's too simple or anything, it cracks me up inside.

    Tricks for that special someone

I agree with Katie. If I had a girlfriend (:() I most certainly wouldn't try to win her over with magic. I would want them to like me because of me... not because I can do cool tricks with cards.

Close Up Tables and Magic Travel Cases

I got an extremely nice case from Home Depot that had pieces of foam to seperate sections, a nice little thing at the top that can store pens, IT, Thumb Tips, and pretty much all your supplies. Plus it's only around $20. I love it, and use it all the time. I personally use a card table to...

    Bicycle Black & Silver deck

These decks are nice, but I don't like the alternating face colors. I much prefer the white and silver decks. They're similar to these cards, but they have a "cleaner" look, and to me, almost feel a little smoother. Probably just me, though.

Royal Road or Oz Pearlman's Born to Perform?

These are two VERY different products, and hard to compare. I have reviews for both of them on Penguin if you want to go check them out (very in depth reviews, if I do say so myself). Royal Road is a little harder to learn from, but has more material. Born to Perform has less material, is...

    Classic Force

Heck, I've practiced it so much, I had a spectator today who was a little less than willing, and I still forced the cards on him. This was on the bus, and another kid goes, "The whole deck is the 9 of Diamonds!" I simply agreed with him and said it was a damn good illusion as I spread through...

    100% Luck

So today I was in Comp and Lit, right? I was doing a couple quick card effects, when this nut (but really nice guy), asked me to read his mind. He told me to tell him the card he was thinking of, and said "Now!" as he snapped his fingers. Immediately, I said the Seven of Spades, his jaw...

    "Vintage" Bicycle Cards from Penguin

I'm not going to take the time to read all the posts in here, but just because I was curious, I picked up a pack of these at Books- A - Million. I don't think they're bad cards at all. They look fairly good, and handle just like a normal deck. They're actually pretty nice cards. IMHO, of course.
