    Invisible Deck

Hey Cringe, I agree with the consensus here that it wasn't really funny. The thing is, I got bored after 30 seconds - The entire two minutes is really repetitive, the same things over and over. Whilst I recognised some of the flourishes, even I think most who would recognise all of them would...

    In Front Of Camera Magicians

lol yeah - I can't film my performances when I'm out but by all means I try and do them... Doing one tomorrow actually, should be good... Haha yeah I can see how it'd be awesome to rewatch though. :)

    In Front Of Camera Magicians

I understand what you mean - for some people it's just not possible though. I have been in two battles, both effects to camera. I have no video camera, only a limited wire webcam that is attached to me computer. My desk with my computer is right in the corner, and hence if I got an audience...

    Expert Card Magic link glitch?

Well, I guess so - because right now, the ECM site is that iframe site, that's all of the ECM site, so yeah unless they have something they're not showing, that's it, probably site down or something.

    Difficulty on the Paper Engine?

Yeah, that's pretty much right, all that's been said. The GHP has taken me 2-3 months to get down, other stuff is easier... None of it is impossible to do - the descriptions make them all learnable...

    I sent you a challenge homeslice70.

    Cards and Humidity

Honestly? It's impossible to completely prevent - just as you can't prevent cards from getting old or worn, sooner or later, it will happen. You can minimise the effect of humidity though by doing things like performing only indoors, keeping the deck outside of the box for as little time as...

    Sandwich/Transpo Effect

Ok, maybe I exaggerated in saying it was terrible - it's not nearly as good looking as in person though, it's an average looking deck compared to others on video. Oh yes that is another thing I forgot to mention - I'm sure you realise the method isn't revolutionary. But, as I hinted at, it looks...

    Sandwich/Transpo Effect

The effect itself was very nice - can you draw more attention away from your hands when you get ready for lifts though? Aside from that, the construction of the actual effect was nice, it's simple and looks nice. Although on the subject of looking nice... As I suspected, S & M look terrible on...

Best false shuffle for stacked decks?

The Heinstein Shuffle does look very convincing.

    Something Enjoyable

Holy ****. What the eff. I agree with Sean - Don't rewind this. On one hand, some of the simplest stuff you can find, used with incredible fluidity. On the other hand, some that I completely didn't see coming. Wow.

Daniel Garcia: His view on his latest E release.

Danny seems like a wonderful guy. From a business perspective too though - image is business. And if he felt genuinely wronged by it, which I'm sure he did - fine by me.

    RIP Geoff Latta

Guys, this is no-one's fault - we all have different opinions; but reserve them for another time and place, let this thread be for now, let's reserve it for condolences specifically. No more on the cause or anything like that (and yes, it's slightly hypocritical for me to be posting this message...

    RIP Geoff Latta

And regardless of cause of death, no factor should lessen the importance of loss of life. My condolences..

    Jerry's Nuggets

Pj, that's a very nice post and lesson. It never ceases to amaze - it seems to me, from the ones I know/have heard about, most often, rich people are rich for a reason, and usually that reason is attitude.

Bill Malone... Derren Brown's card-related mentalism is amazing... Aaron Fisher also.

    Telekinesis: DC vs CL

Hey guys, both of you were amazing. I voted for Chr!s also - overall I felt his rapport was stronger, as was his presentation. His pen effect was also most open, though the first spoon bend by Dee was very impressive. Dee, I loved the music though. Awesome song, awesome band.

    Gaff Attack! Challenge

StokedHero0, I'm sorry but I'm afraid I'll have to reject your challenge as well - Only very occasionally do I perform with gaffs and at any rate I'm unable to shoot for a live audience because I only have a badly placed stationary webcam. Good luck with whoever accepts though :)

    Expert Card Magic link glitch?

poonchingyip, As benjamind said, the site is being displayed as an iframe site - in html code, it's an inline frame - basically, a tv. Take a look at this page - http://www.cyprich.com/2007/04/12/displaying-a-web-site-in-a-frame/ There are a series of two identical windows, each with a...

    Cards and Humidity

Hi John, A few answers... It's been Winter where I am so no real humidity, but I should think that any humidity level different from what you are used to would be noticed physically - but being used to Iowa, you would probably be more used to the humidity. I dunno, but I mean, sometimes senses...
