    Clean-up for 5 Speed

First of all, they're so astounded that they really don't give a crap what you do next. Toss them on the table, put 'em in the deck, whatever. What I do is toss 'em down, pick up the deck, replace the cards in different locations (with 2 at the top), turn the deck face up, and clean up from...

    Burn by D+M

One question about burn. Before I decide to spend more of my ever-depleting bank account, when you learn the method to Burn, do you think, "Oh [expletive]! That's ingenius!" or, "Poop, I could have thought of that." Thanks for the insight. SG

    Official Battlers Thread

Who's up for a battle entitled, "Just Believe" in which you perform Believe, and only Believe, for an audience (preferably small). All the patter you want, but the effect has to be Believe and can't be preceded by any other effects. Best reaction(s) wins. Who's up for the challenge? PM me. SG

    My Idea for 1-on-1's

I actually really like this idea... It'd be great to hear from some guys, who do this to make their living, about how to manage crowds, some different heckler tips for different hecklers, and other things of the sort. SG

    My ClipShift Performance

Too much shaking, and too obvious/exaggerated of a bend. Just bend slightly and then shake just before the change happens. SG

Is there a place I can learn the cascade control without buying an entire book? A one on one type thing? Thanks. SG

    Gambler's Cop

The advantage of the ring finger is that your front two fingers (pointer and middle) look natural from the front. Heck, you can even straighten then out all the way, but at minimum, at least they look natural, 'cause they aren't doing anything. SG

"I know how you did that!" - Oh really?

With regard to the: "I saw how you did that!" "[Insert filler] then you can show us all how!" approach, I've tried that approach, but has anyone ever had it work? All (I think) that does is give them the chance to ruin any "magic" you have your audience believing because he will most likely...

What do you think would be cool?

If you're willing to deface the Distortion gimmick, then you could potentially switch them back and forth! I'm a genius... Or, I'm not quite sure how Change will work, but that might be and option to do that too. But the Distortion deal would be a one time thing, and an expensive one time...

    Silencing Coins and Cheap Gimmicks

    1. I'm just starting out in coin magic, but am having some problems that I'm assuming every seasoned coin person has come across. I've purchased and can perform the alternate version of CoinTwo well, except I can't figure out how to make these guys be quiet when they're rubbing up against each...

    ThreeFry or Unicoin?

About shutting those coins up, what's the best way to make talkative coins mute? (Did I take that metaphor too far?) Thanks in advance. SG

    Where to buy coins?

On the topic of coins, I was online looking for a shell for a silver dollar preferably, or a half dollar. I've looked at a couple of websites, but they're all sets of 4 (and a half) coins, and sell for way to much money for my liking. Is there a place where I can just buy the shell and "hope" it...

T11 Round Table Discussion - Wayne Houchin

    1. What's the first trick that you perform when you approach/are approached? 2. At what age did you think/realize that magic could actually be your full-time profession? 3. How do you feel about incorporating flourishing into magic tricks (when performing live)? SG

    Flourishes by Dan and Dave

Going away for a couple of months is absolutely perfect for flourishing and magic too. Last Summer, I felt like I was spending to much money on magic and not practicing enough, so I decided the the Trilogy would be my last purchase. I went to a Summer program at Stanford which was perfect for...

    Question For XCMers & Flourishers

Not to get too philosophical, but basically technology has a huge part to it. Our generation (the young'uns), have grown up with a lot of technologically advanced stuff. This allows for communication etc. over the internet, and has thus HUGELY minimized our human to human contact. Given, this...

    Eye Contact

Well, I've been performing a lot more recently, mainly at our high school graduation parties, and I'm finding out great new, subtle crowd control techniques. My main question, is how do you guys, those who actually go out and perform, establish eye contact and maintain it (so as to keep them...
