    Lapping - stage magic substitute?

Hi. I'm planning to perform a trick where I produce two large objects from a smaller container. However, it turns out that the trick calls for lapping these objects, and I'll be doing the trick on a stage. The two objects will be about the size of a grapefruit each. I'll need to hide them...

    Card Spring Marriage Proposal

at first when I saw it, I thought it was going to be rather lame. Like a card-flourish pick up line or something. Needless to say, you surprised me. Good job! And congratulations :D!

    Card flourishes first published?

Does anyone know when and where card flourishes first appeared in print? I've already tried searching on the 'Net. I vaguely remember that one thread mentioned the card fan first being published in somewhere but I couldn't find that thread. Thanks.

Where can I learn a spread?

Ah yes, the infamous Lepaul Spread. What a great flourish :p. Just want to let you know that most people need to practice this forever and a half to even be able to do it. Took me about 4 months before I could even do a regular U lepaul spread, and I'm still not satisfied with my S lepaul now...

    Skater Cut

It's not that issue really, but just that this person posts a bunch of spam threads on different flourishes. he won't even let us know how it's going for him. I think he's Dave J. Castle in disguise. for the skater cut, do it with the ring finger and practice practice practice...

Is this a good excuse for NOT palming?

If you can do it without windows in your hand, all the better. But you could also use misdirection as well. If some person is burning your hands, you could say "Honey, my eyes are up here." although this might not work depending on your personality. Just a thought.

    Un-Gimmicked Tricks Using One Card

Paul harris has an effect, "One Card Deck" in his Close up Fantasies series, although you'll need to borrow more than just 1 card I think. Maybe.

    What do you think?

It really depends on what type of magic you do. If you're into the flourishy magic that the Bucks do then yes, buy the tricks dvd by all means. However, if you prefer less in-your-face magic, then you might want to go with something else. Most of the subtler, but harder hitting effects are in...

Total Coincidence (Tamariz) or Coincidental (Scott Guinn)?

I've been trying to decide which of these 2 tricks is better in general: I recently learned Juan Tamariz's 2 deck routine Total Coincidence. It's one of my favorite card effects. 2 decks is kind of inconvenient so Scott Guinn adapted this routine to using only 1 deck, which he called...
