I'm not of fan of Adams. Nothing he's created has fooled me or sparked my interest. To each their own, but I'll pass on this one.
Randy,
Yes, I understand this. But, I am a fan of magic myself so I still liked to be fooled when someone performs an effect that I do not know, heck, even the ones I do in some cases. A product should be designed to do so to it's target audience as well, or they will think "I can do that myself, who needs to fork $30 for a ....." If any magic product you've ever bought didn't fool you, you wouldn't have purchased now would you?
I think that if you get them in the right frame of mind. It wont cross their mind that you manipulated the technology available. Tech Magic can be very amazing to spectators.I can't say I'm impressed. Cellphone and other technomancy type effects just don't strike me as magical. It may be an amazing effect for some people but not for me.
