I'm not of fan of Adams. Nothing he's created has fooled me or sparked my interest. To each their own, but I'll pass on this one.

You do realize that when you perform magic it's not meant to fool YOU. Otherwise it would be silly. It's meant to fool or entertain lay people.

I think it looks pretty good. The fact that the ringtone isn't permanent, and in fact gets changed back to their original ringtone immediately, is just awesome to me. This is going on my list (not before the TA set, though, of course). :)

Randy,
Yes, I understand this. But, I am a fan of magic myself so I still liked to be fooled when someone performs an effect that I do not know, heck, even the ones I do in some cases. A product should be designed to do so to it's target audience as well, or they will think "I can do that myself, who needs to fork $30 for a ....." If any magic product you've ever bought didn't fool you, you wouldn't have purchased now would you?

I don't want to fool me. I want to fool other people. You need to get out of the mind set. Magic isn't about fooling yourself. It's about entertaining other people. You can't do that if you constantly think 'Well that didn't fool me." Of course did it didn't! You're a bloody magician! It's not meant to fool magicians and most people should trying to fool themselves.

Randy,

Of course when I perform an effect I don't fool myself, that's ridiculous. But, I can admit that when someone else performs, especially a new effect, I prefer to get fooled by it as I still love to watch and enjoy magic. The post topic asked what we think, I gave my opinion, so let's agree that we disagree and move on.

New teaser posted for anyone who cares. Just people talking again but still pretty funny.

Still not sure about how I feel about this effect.

Technology is a interesting type of magic.
To some it may seem like youre the devil, others just ask if that was it.
This trick sounds like one of those fun things which you can do to freak people out but not really something you can do largescale to hundreds of people. Although you say he does ends with this, I dont see how this can finish a great show.
I would get this is it was a really clean effect with no pre-show tampering or planting. If it is just some magical gimmick thing which helps you achieve a hands off effect, then that would be great. *damn i just read that you needa touch their phone during the trick*
Anyways, this seems like a fairly decent trick. Adam's effect have never really WOWed me that much. But I did perform Frozen quite a few times and it killed. Anyways, technology is a hard subject to be assured on. There was a trick called... Optic Vision or something, where a picture of the performer's eye is taken on a phone. And a picture of a chosen card slowly fades in and out of the picture. At first I was hesitant on purchasing it, but I just wanted to know how good the effect was. Anyways, I got it and performed it a few times and the reactions were amazing.
