Hey guys,
I know that sounds strange, two VERY different styles of magic. Here is the picture of them together http://yfrog.com/h43xkxvj Bill Malone, along with Jonathan Pendragon, Michael Ammar, the Amazing Jonathan and "The Mentalist". All attended a party in Las Vegas celebrating the launch of Criss Angels revolutionary site called "The Magic Place" (www.magicplace.com). The aforementioned magicians participated in Criss's magic network on this site, a 24/7 network for magic info, news, comedy, theory and other magic related matters. Criss's new site also includes a magic store. I have to admit, I'm very impressed with Criss. The magic store attracted my eye when I saw effects like Rattled, Extreme Burn Hands Off, being advertised. The site also features the latest and greatest effects in magic, and effects hand picked by Criss himself (some of wich were the Daniel Garcia project and OddBalls) I think this new multipurposed site has the potential to be one of the greatest advances in magic for a long time. Unfortunately, the site crashed within the first 12min of its launch, due to a barrage of eager fans and magicians visiting it. Criss Angel claims that the site was getting over 4,000 hits per second, and is temporarily down. Criss and his crew are upgrading to faster and more efficient servers as we speak. The site should be up soon enough.
So, I just wanted to update the Theory11 family on this.
-Jon

Ps: Apparently Bill Malone went to Believe and thourouly enjoyed it. In Criss's words, "He just could not stop talking about it"

I don't have anything against Criss or his show. In fact sometime I will probably watch it in Vegas next trip out along with Mac King.
I think it is a great thing that he is opening a shop and allowing other guys to help him launch it. Who knows...some little kid at home who is 10 might purchase his first effect from it and become something great.

His sitet really wasnt what i was expecting. I was thinking it was going to be some kind of webshow type deal thats all about magic, but i was pretty surprised by the magic store, but his whole "best prices on the net" is a load of BS. There are a descent amount of other sites out there where you can get the same effects for a fraction of what he's charging, but he does have quite a large selection.
