Anyways, just to let you know that I got my new cruise ship assignment. I will be joining Carnival Dream on March 12th http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/ships/carnival_dream/default.aspx?shipCode=DR as a Casino Dealer (it has something to do with cards lol). So I will also try to meet as many magicians there as possible, and get as much information on how to land a cruise ship job as a magician.

Nope, my second time. My first time was last year, I worked as a fitness instructor. And I have seen a lot of magicians perform (there are only stage magicians on cruise ships, no close up). And, believe it or not, most of them are using exactly the same tricks and same corny lines. None of them heard of T11 or E or Paper Crane etc... and they are making about $2000 - $3000 per cruise.
So yeah, I want that job lol
