The spread pass only works in certain situations, but it is one of the few passes that are really motivated, and the spectators have nothing to suspect.
Always the Hermann Shift, or Hoffman's Diagonal Pass which was the inspiration for the Diagonal Palm Shift.
Michael I have seen your riffle pass and I has seen you use it many times. As for you to pick a herman pass it baffles me. Where can I learn the diagonal pass.
Which one? The DPS or the other? DPS can be found it the book "Expert at the Card Table" and the other I have no idea...
I unfortunately cannot source the Diagonal Pass as I didn't learn it from text, but I believe if you purchase Chad Nelson's Svengali Control download at dananddave.com, the basic mechanics are all there. The Diagonal Pass is essentially everything up to the point where Chad rotates the deck and dribbles the cards into his hand. The move is a bottom placement as opposed to a shift of two packets but it's my most used control.
