I wont be able to do it becuase I use windows movie maker

An option for you, you can painfully do it one frame at a time. Itll take hours, but itll get done. It seems weird cause it seems itd be a basic thing to do, but most software doesnt get this option until the higher end models. Makes sense though since why would amatuers need to blur faces.

There is a guy on the forums here offering free video editing, never done anything for me personally or seen any of his work, but hes around here somewhere.

If it's that Stoveice tool you'd be better off editing while blindfolded and working the mouse with your sphincter.

There are some freeware editing programs you might be able to track down. I would do a Google search. If nothing turns up, consider a day job and save up for a higher end editing application.

In fact, I would do that anyway. If you're making videos as often as you do, you'll want to invest in some better software for more sophisticated and effective color correction.

Hey....Ive been using a free video editing software program called WAX...it has lots of uses from blue an gree screen capabilities and im sure u can create a blur effect within it...if not u can use a Photo editing software to create a blur image...import it into WAX and animate it. Google search free video editing software and something should headline around the title of the 10 best free video editing software...or something like that...hope this helps :)

I agree, but I would actually advise to you to get a better camera. I have seen most of your videos and since you are as passionate about making videos as you are, a better camera would do you alot better than a better editing software program. I know this isnt the advice you asked for but...

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to blur a face??

The actual video camera he's used is... passable. It's his webcam that's ****. Also a real microphone would help as the mics built into the cameras are a pile on tinny cell phone noise and wank.

I do agree that eventual investment in a 3-chip camera would be advisable, but let's take this one step at a time.

Most likely the person didn't give their consent to have their face shown. He's not legally bound to honor the request as this is not a commercial project, but if he feels it's the ethical thing to do...

yea. get a job. work a few weeks. and you'll have the dough to get some editing software.
and if u can get a nicer cheap hd camera you'll be better off. and it will be a worth while investment also, because you'll be making soo many videos.
but thats the best tip.

When we first filmed it the lady was okay with it but the next day she contacted me asking me to not use it.

Thanks everyone. I will see if I can find it.
