Enough about magic... More about me

This thread is not specificaly about me but I want to know more about you all.
I would like to know what your plans are in the future career wise.

With the economy being the way it is right now, it would seem to be pretty hard for magicians to have a sustainable income performing only magic. I am not talking about magicians that have already made a name for themselves, but if you are one of these magicians feel free to chime in. My question is what career path have/are you going to pursue?

I am going into architechtural graphics and Mill and Cabinetry, and ultimatly become a teacher at some point.

Good question even though the thread already have been made. I am planning to become a chef for the food industry and hopefully work in a restaurant.

Well, I'm currently double majoring in Psychology and Sociology...possibly going to get my masters and PhD in either Sociology, or Social Psychology. From there, likely research. :)

If I don't get into graduate school, then I dunno. I'll be doing whatever job my degree can get me. :)

Also, starting a business on the side (I don't want to mention what it's going to be, yet, but it's in the works--it'll be in my signature eventually, heh). :)

I own a gunshop/trapping supply/fishing supply store by day and I am a driller on an oil drilling rig by night and I try to learn a little magic when I have the time.

I have a big interest in Entertainment Technology. Specifically getting a BA in either writing or theater and then getting a Masters of Entertainment Technology from CMU.

That geeky stuff said, its far from impossible to make it as a magician today. I know several people (who are not famous) who do so. Consider this, 4 shows a week at $300 a show (average for my area) is 62 grand a year... Thats far from a bad living, just saying.
