The Bible doesn't say there is an invisible man, but an omnipresent holy spirit. There's a large difference, but it would take a long time to discuss.

The Bible does not state that if you break one of the ten commandments you go to hell. It says that we're all sinners, (meaning we've all broken one of God's commandments and there are more then ten) and that all sin is equal in the eyes of God. So telling a lie is no different from murder. Sounds harsh, but it's true. We're all equal. Furthermore it states that anyone can go to Heaven through salvation by Jesus Christ. That's anyone, and I'm quite happy because of the mistakes I've made in the past and the knowledge that they're forgiven.

Bible also clearly states that we should kill all gays and gives us a permission to sell our daughters as slaves.

Nice one Ineski. Not to mention it says that african americans were a curse by god. That's why there is so much racism between the two. Wont be long till Jack or the other mods close this thread.

Before this thread is close in shame, allow me to try and salvage a modicum of dignity for other atheists and agnostics out there.

I don't believe in religion, and I don't care what yours is as long as you don't wave it in my face.

I do have a couple routines from a skeptic's perspective, and even a full show. But I don't browbeat people with it.

I do perform seances, but never under the pretense of contacting a deceased person by name, and if questioned I will come clean.

I consider those woh exploit religion to prey on people whether it be through magic or other deceptions to be the most vile parasites to walk the earth.

I'm going to close this thread, as it is not magic related. Everyone, of course, has a right to believe in whatever or whomever he or she wants. However, the forums are not the best place to discuss religious topics, unless they are directly related to magic.
