As long as it gets an awesome effect to happen it really doesn't matter to me.

Although improptu is sooooo much better than anything.

Thanks for quoting my thread, but I don't think anyone disagrees with that thread as much as me now. That was in the early days of Tumbleweed, we're now in the era of The Tumbleweed, who's slightly more mature and whose opinions actually make some sense.

I don't have a problem with gimmicks, and am quite happy with gimmicked tricks, however the ones that I end up using regularly are always the non-gimmicked ones. Purely because there will be one day when I just can't be bothered to grab the gimmick, or I don't have time, and yet I survive the day. Slowly I just stop carrying it around with me. So whilst I believe the method isn't important, the tricks I use are pretty much solely non-gimmicked.
