Holy Grail by Jordan Johnson

How does The Holy Grail compare to TnR? Both seem VERY similar. I'm familiar with TnR, and if this is very close, then there's no need to pick the Holy Grail.

Well, with TnR, the gimmick is reusable. In the Holy Grail, it isn't. I think the Holy Grail is so much more visual, as you get to show BOTH SIDES of the card DURING the restoration.

As I said before, I personally don't like making the gimmick, but it still is an overall nice trick.

I just picked up The Holy Grail, and after watching it through (lowering the speakers for the annoyingly loud music used), I have to say that this Torn & Restored effect is KILLER!!!!

It is a bit of a bother to make, but I"m used to making gimmicked cards, so it's not so bad.

TOTALLY worth the money for this effect. I wish that the advanced handling wasn't so involved though......

I hated the method. David Regal gave it a horrid review in Genii which should be enough to keep you from buying it.
