I'm looking for possible references for a magic trick that I want to create

I want to perform a trick in which a spectator names any item they like and it then appears inside of a box which has been in full sight the entire time - however, I don't want to use an equivoque. Does anyone know where I ought to look for potential methods?

I suspect you’ve seen something like this on “Magic for Humans”. I suspect that in the show, there is a dual reality that isn’t apparent due to editing.

Your options are doing preshow work or a force / peel or limiting the options by setting a scene with the ability to place a variety of items in the box (e.g. you are going to a Super Bowl party and bringing some food, what do you bring?). For any force, make the method logical (e.g. use Pokémon Cards to pick a figurine wrapped up as a birthday present).

I haven't seen (or even heard of the show), I simply thought that it would be a cool idea for a trick. I suspected that I'd be limited with the number of objects in this way. Thank you, I'll see what I can come up with.
