Inspectable 'Scotch & Soda'?

I know that this trick is an oldie, but is there such a thing as a 'Scotch & Soda' routine that will allow you to use any coins you want?

Or is this untapped/impossible territory?

I know Peter Marucci's has an ungaffed version of Scotch and Soda. I don't think he sells it though. If your able to get into contact with him he is a nice guy. That would be the route I would go. So it is possible and would allow you to use really any coins in that case. Off the top of my head I don't know many other versions like it.
