Details make more of an impression than you know. Things you might think no one notices, can make a big difference.
For instance the way you are dressed and take care of yourself. If you saw a guy come in with a button up shirt, nice clothes, and takes care of himself (white teeth, clean fingernails, ect.), or a guy come in with a Tshirt and ragged looking fingernails, who would give the better impression right away? I can bet you, you would instantly get a better vibe from the first guy. Even if you never judge people by the way they look, you still can't help but get a vibe from the way they look. It's human nature.
So how much more a voicemail?
