Hey guys I wanted to know if anyone here knows of any good DVD's that teach cheating techniques? Something good and not to expensive. Lastly this is not for actually cheating just a full length cheating magic routine. Thanks.

Honestly, The Expert At The Card Table by S.W. Erdnase is the best card table gambling artifice ever written. If you really do not want a book, there is a DVD companion but it is meant to be done along with the book.

The book itself is only about 10 dollars ($5 from lybrary.com I believe) but has more information than you will ever, ever use.

ummmm try the book 21: Bringing down the House best book Iv read in awhile its about the MIT card counters and at the end he teaches you how they card counted

Unfortuantly, teaching ( not exposing) videos of cheating techniques are not that common. Books are the main sources, and the DVDs are no way near teaching the techniques as well as the books ( Erdnase is does have cheating sleights and theory but its more into magic ).

There are 2 teaching videos in my mind, one of them is no way for beginners in this. I don't have remmeber the names, I will post them if I remmeber. Richard Turner got some DVDs though I didn't check them out. Unreak Work by R. Paul Wilson and Jason England, but still, not for starters.

I don't recommend Weapons of Card Shark, as some of the demostrations ( especially the stacking ) are not good.

For books I'd recommend Erdnase, anything by George Josiph ( spelling), Darwin Ortiz's book on gambling scam is one of the best works written in cheating techniques and how they are used ( though no technical cheating, just information ). Steve Forte's book is amazing too, though a bit expensive.

Cheers,

Being a surveillance manager for a casino i have lots of experience with this.

What you already now about cards moves can be used in cheating. The way I've always put it is that: When it comes to the moves card cheating and magic are the same, the difference is the presentation you put into the moves.

Check out the "at the card table" series by Darwin Ortiz, or any of his material. A lot of his stuff is "gambling oriented" routines.

Anything by Richard Turner would do you good.

Steve Forte Gambling Protection series is probably the best series out there right now on "gambling protection". Steve Forte is a master at cheating all casino games. They sell for $25 each and are 4 to the series, and are only on VHS now. Supposed to be on DVD this year sometime.

George Joseph has a couple of DVDs you should check out, "cheating at blackjack" "cheating at Gin" "cheating at craps" Cheating at Poker" and "cheating at Backgammon"

The Sal Piacante "poker cheats exposed" DVD set is also good.

But as said before get "expert at the card table" Learn the moves in there you'll get most of what you need for cheating.

as said before Stay away from weapons of the card sharks, stay away from Brian Tudor stuff for cheating.

Finally check out the gamblers book shop at www.gamblersbook.com , this is the ultimate repository for DVD, VHS, and Books on all things gambling, from how to play, deal, and cheat almost every game out there.

Hope this helps

If its purely for demonstration purposes, check out - Lennart Greene's Poker Deal or Guy Hollingworths Gambling Demo from his 'Routines' video - where the deck is shuffled back into original order after the gambling demo is finished.

As has been said before, if you want DVDs, definitely go for Richard Turner's stuff. However, I'd also like to add Allan Ackerman's "Advanced Card Control" Volumes 2 and 5 (False Deals and Shuffle Work), plus Tony Giorgio's "The Real Work", which is an excellent resource for mucking.

There's also some good discussion on gambling techniques on Dai Vernon's "Revelations" series of DVDs, which, to be fair, every magician should own anyway.

I would not recommend the Ninja series for gambling/card cheating teaching. Sure there are good moves taught, but Richard Turner is going to be your best bet.

Scratch out what I said about trying the Ninja series, Richard Turner is your best resource for gambling/cheating at cards.
