Hey everybody,

Not necessarily new here but I've been lurking for a few months while I've had some free time.

Been working in sub school for a few months now trying to get on a boat.

19 years old, been doing magic for just about a year now with some mixed results. Don't perform to much right now, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I've watched a lot of videos that leave much to be desired.

So I've decided to kind of watch some things and try to figure out what style I would like.

So far I know I don't like anything, sort of. It seems this aura of mystery that should surround magic is lost when I pull out a pack of cards, and coins isn't something I enjoy to do. So I'm looking around for some stuff to work with but my mind isn't a very creative one when it deals with this sort material.

Anyway, I'll be posting a little bit around here and figured I'd tell a little bit about me.

Also...DO NOT ask questions about, "The Wire". All we know right now is that it is a fiber optic pipe line that sends all of David Blaine's, David Copperfield's, and any other magical David's magic spells out there into one giant time capsule which has a flux capaciter. At precisely 11:11 p.m. on 1/11/11 it will be opened by 1.21 jigawatts to reveal something incredible.

It is ok if you do not know what type / style of magic suits you yet. Sometime it takes awhile for people to get in their groove and even then...that may change after a year or so. You never know.

Have fun and do not be afraid to ask questions. (Well...anything but about the wire!)
