It's like how Smash lab is pretty much a crappy rip off Mythbusters... (Anybody who has seen Smash lab can attest to their stupidity.)

Seriously the guy goes on to try different theory's about whatever. It's just him saying "OK, I want you to put me into a room with pissed of Cobra's and if I don't make it out in time.. Make sure we got the anti-venom.. or that I am not dead..."

I'm pretty sure they have to take some safety measures no matter how talented the guy thinks he is. Otherwise he'd have a huge hospital bill or end up dead... >_>

Shock sells. The rush of knowing someone is in immediate danger, even though you know he'll be fine, causes people to watch.

On another note
Why does this keep popping up on T11? It's no different then survivorman, but more stupid. I fail to see what it has to do with magic...

Because it has to do with escapes.(Houdini)


I actually like the show. I get a kick out of watching a guy put a scorpion in his mouth then put duct tape over it, while his hands are tied to a table. It's fun!
Isn't life funny when it's not happening to you?

Not trying to start an argument...but what you just described to me is not an escape in the sense of Houdini...

That's like saying someone who duct taped thier hands to a bike with dyanmite strapped to their head while on a bicycle going downhill is an escape.

Yeah but people today don't find the traditional escapes of older generations as entertaining as they use too. Lets face it, an old man getting kicked in the testicals and flatulating is gonna get more air time than someone with any kind of real skill will, and it's quite sad. For god sakes, one of the biggest subjects at the Presidential Inauguration was Fashion! I blame Brad Pitt :D Ha!

And am I the only one that finds it funny that Santa's still popping up? :p Even though he still remains quite funny :D

... I haven't seen Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Maybe a slightly more accurate reference would be something like reality shows. People with no talent who are on air more than people who work hard to be great at what they do. Not only that, but why the hell do I care how many babies Brad and Angelina Adopt? I'm almost sick that that sentance even came out of my mouth... wait, that should be fingers cause i'm typing right...
