I have a question about an effect that im practicing and its one of those effects where the card is reversed in the deck. And at the end of the trick i take the deck and ribbon spread it face up and show that one card is reversed. I have a question on how to reveal the card. Should i let the spectator take it out of the deck and look at it or should i take the card out myself and flip it over slowly(suspensfully).

How about you combine the two?

*Ribbon spread* - insert patter - "One card... Is reversed in the deck."

"Take it out slowly for me, don't look at it yet. Alright, Michelle, for the first time, out loud, what was your card?"

"3 of spades."

*Short pause - make eye contact. Small smile*

[Quietly] "One card, reversed, in your hand. Turn it over."
